Haven is such a wonderful place for your loved one. My mother, Erica, has been at Haven for just over a year and is now coming home tomorrow! So exciting!! Haven has changed her life. They are kind, compassionate, and really take care of your loved one. I can not state enough how much I deeply appreciate their kindness and care that they have provided for my mother this past year. I want to thank the staff and a huge shout-out to Brandy. Brandy has such a great attitude and is just a really nice lady. Thank you!

I spent 22 days and nights at Haven! This is their problem the RN,LPN,and the people who assist the RN,LPN, are to few, they are short staff, by 65%! The management here treat the staff like crap and expect them to do everything which includes taking out the trash 4 times a day, to the huge dumpsters, their is your nurse pushing a huge grey trash can through the hallway and you know another person needs their medication. Then your nurse is handing out food trays with the maintenance man because they are short staff everyday!!! If you need to blame someone that your loved ones aren’t getting the care blame the management team here and supporting team members like the social worker Colleen who is absolutely the most irresponsible person in the healthcare system, she also has her co conspiracy I think Anna with the hurt leg, she is a good actor!! I must not forget their head nurse, how could these people make decisions when they can’t get their facts right, these ladies are full of deception!! What about the kickbacks they get for product promotion, ie: diapers, wipes!! We can’t even discuss the food I would not feed it to my animals!!! In 22 days I got one hot meal, all my meals were cold they tell you to have them re heat you can’t get anyone they have two assists for 60 patients. I spent close to $934.00 in Uber so I could eat. The bottom line is the employees are good at what they do here but they are short handed and management couldn’t care they really don’t answer to anyone here, there corporate office in Dallas. The rehabilitation facility had one professional a young lady that worked with me and she was good, but otherwise don’t count on more then 10 minutes a day for 3 days a week. It’s time for the county to send some inspectors out to this facility to have paperwork and patient reports to amount of time they need for proper treatment and documentation!

My wife was able to stay at Haven Health for over two weeks to recover from a major surgery. The care she received was beyond excellent. Every employee there was courteous, caring, and empathetic. As her stay progressed she, and I, felt as if the staff were not simply administrators, nurses, CNA's, dieticians, chefs, and janitors; THEY WERE FAMILY!
Thank you Haven Health,
Dr. Michael Lolovich

If I could give a zero rating I would. A two star review is more likely to be read though. Nurse Brittney has a lazy poor attitude and ignores her patients. She refused to do a blood sugar test on my diabetic mother in law, left her with wet bandages after her shower and refused to give her night meds. This happened both times nurse Brittney was my MIL nurse. They constantly lost my MIL clothes even though they were clearly marked. My MIL was sent to the emergency room and then transfered to a second emergency room. She was sent home from the emergency room. Haven lost or broke a good deal of my MIL stuff cleaning her room out. The facilities are clean. The food was decent. However the nursing staff is subpar, attitudes towards the patients intolerable and bordering on dangerous.

Great place if you do not expect basic human care. Even w my sister and I there every day she did not receive the care she needed. The first month tyllmy mom went back and forth to hospital for several UTI. She was put on several antibiotics which she developed c diff that turned into sever coliti.. they tell u they check on patients every 2 hours, that is not true. There is some lazy people who work there. My mom would be left in her stool so long it would be dried by the time we got there. We did all the work. We'll due to their lack of Healthcare n not doing catheter cleaning my mom died on the 23rd and it states on her death Uti so they r somewhat responsible. If u want basic human care do not go here. We had to beg for basic care n there are nurses who will not leave their chair at all their whole shift. We were there every day n saw n noted everything

I have a friend at the Haven; I have tried calling her over the past several months to no avail. When I call, the phone is rarely answered and when it is answered they transfer me to another line that is not answered. Residents/Patients do not have a phone in their room! I am heartsick that patients there are so isolated they can't even talk to family and friends on the phone. My friend has lost a lot weight due to the quality of food served there as well.

Poor service lack of communication all the way around. My mother is supposed to be seeking skilled nursing services, while recovering from a fractured elbow. However they seemed to be doing just the opposite. They gave my mom pain medication that she’s not supposed to have because of her underlying health issues. We asked they stop administering her that pain medication so instead they gave her something even stronger, so strong that she was unstable to do anything, fell and was told not to leave her bed without calling a nurse. Meanwhile her physical therapist told us this very day my mother has made great progress and is able to do just about everything on her own and will be discharged very soon. The day of this meeting my moms charger went missing and I was unable to communicate with her for about 4 -5 days I’ve left numerous messages for her to call me but nothing. Today coincidentally her charger popped up and my mother called me, she told me she’s been asking the nurses to call me but they wouldn’t. My mom has gone to 2 Skilled nursing facilities in the past and none of them were like this. This place is treating her like she’s in hospice. Myself or my mother are not able to meet with the doctor because we were told by the nurse he has multiple facilities he has to work for and he don’t have time to set a meeting with us. I’m not sure what they got going on here but something just ain’t right here. My advice to you is: do not send your loved one here for skilled nursing. At the end of the day this place is a business and they run it like one to. Your loved ones health is not their priority. Their priority is the in$urance. They are far from what they claim to be and the services they claim to provide. Don’t do it.
