I vehemently disagree with the negative reviews. My mother is staying at Golden Times and it’s a wonderful facility with a compassionate and caring team. I met other patients during my visit and everyone was getting top notch care. Joy runs a tight ship and I trust her with my mother’s care. This is a family run facility and it shows. They treat people like family and not numbers.

Golden Times care home
This facility needs to be inspected and investigated as the level of care is not adequate for its residents.
The placement company and the patient coordinator falsely advertised Golden Times home to be capable of accepting patients with feeding tube and trachea. This was not the case.
The certified nurse who we first met assured us she would be there daily to oversee operations was not there.
The equipment and supplies as partial order was not verified by the shipping order. I had to teach the care staff how to do that.
Procedures were not appropriate. Equipment failure or malfunction was a daily disaster.
Our patient tolerated this experience a total of 12 days. Each day being told missing equipment and a tech or trained nurse would be here tomorrow. Now after relocating our loved one we feel it necessary to warn the uninformed families to be aware that it’s on you to see through the misrepresentation of some senior care facilities and the agencies that push them.

I have been at Golden Times over a year now. I have COPD and congestive heart failure. I haven’t been able to get out of bed all this time. I’m totally bed bound. The care givers do a great job with everyone here. They are nice and friendly. When I have problems with my health they help me out. Which happen a couple times a week If they have to call Hopsice they do it immediately. The owners come in almost every day. The home is nice and clean. They have a good cook, the meals are delicious.

This was the worst experience ever. My sister in law stayed 12 days and was neglected. She was on feeding tube which malfunction. She had a vent and there was 2 staff people trying yo do it all. On her 10th day one of the staff members just walked out. She can. 1 shower and had a trachea and her equipment was not properly installed and it leaked on her and it was freezing. We can to visit and her teeth were chattering and she was crying. We paid $5,000 and stayed 12 days. We were led to believe there would be a nurse there every morning and the owner in the afternoon. Saw the nurse once and I do not think she ever went in Joyce’s room. This was the worse experience we ever had. We are hoping to get our money prorated and returned. If not we may have to seek other avenues.
