Gold country is the best place to stay, You will impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff members are not only professional but also genuinely caring, taking the time to engage with residents and address their needs. What a beautiful facility. The care is professional with great communication. The rehabilitation and PT are caring a supportive. The nursing and aids work hard and really hear the patient. Doug is the Administrator and a RN he was personable kind and truly wants the best care for the people in the facility. Putting someone in care is hard enough but with Gold Country they make that transition as smooth as possible.

I am blessed that BOTH my grandparents have resided at Gold Country Health Center and received the BEST care there. I remember Vicky Hume was their social worker and always so kind. The team their in general was incredibly kind. The nurse's very dedicated and knowledgeable. And the therapist amazing as well. My uncle recently was under the care of Gold Country and because of the 5 STAR care was able to gain strength through great good, care and therpay and go home again. Our community is blessed. I'm in the medical field myself and see and understand bedside care very well. And with the other options in town. Gold Country is the ONLY option. THE ONLY OPTION.

Gold Country Health Center is a beautiful facility with experienced and kind staff members. I visit this facility often - It always smells pleasant. The residents are happy and engaged in their community. The CNAs and nurses go above and beyond to meet their residents needs.

This facility is by far the best in the Placerville area! The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are spacious and it’s very clean. Most importantly, the care provided is top notch! I’ve personally witnessed the Administrator go the extra mile to provide care for patients. They also just purchased a van to help residents get to and from their appointments, which is a nice convenience.

This facility is wonderful. The staff in the kitchen are so accommodating making sure we got the foods we like. The supervisor even went to the store and got avocado and coconut milk yogurt, so we got the foods we liked. This place is great! I highly recommend.

Gold Country is by far the best facility in all of Eldorado County. I have been to the 3 local snf facilities and Gold Country is hands down the cleanest and best facility. They have new ownership and new staff. The best of the best.

This was supposed to be the best facility close to Marshall Hospital. My Grandmother was transferred late Sunday evening. They were not ready for her, changing the linens on her bed while we waited in the hall. The floors in her room were absolutely disgusting, I had to wipe blood splatter off the poll next to her bed that she could use to pull herself up on, broken blinds, the foot extensions from someone's wheel chair were sitting in the sink in her room. My sister literally had a panic attack in the hallway, knowing we had to leave her there in these conditions. The head Nurse was great, but the conditions WERE DISGUSTING. I would not want ANYONES elderly family member staying somewhere like this.
