Glacier Dental on Bragaw is a great place to go if you have sensitive and/or problematic teeth. Drs. Li and Park are very nice and did a wonderful job identifying and treating my teeth including a crown and plan for implants. Ara is an awesome dental assistant and I would highly recommend her if you need a cleaning. Anton and the team up front are very knowledgeable about billing. Can’t recommend them enough!

I am a 40 year old 6months pregnant new patient. I am very phobic of the dental chair but could not wait to get my teeth started as this pregnancy has caused them to start to deteriorate. This was the first time in years I had NO SEDATION. The team and doctors put up with me and made me very comfortable. They are as maxing and I will be back. Trauma was kept to a minimum lol. Thank you glacier dental!

Dr. Song and the staff was excellent! He listened to my concerns and took the time to address them. Everyone made me feel comfortable! Highly recommend them, especially if you’re like me who is very nervous going to the dentist.

I gave them a 2 because in the end the job did get done, I got in same day and they were very nice. Originally intended to just get a cleaning and try to figure out some mouth irritation. The X Rays came back and some work needed to be done. So they started setting up. Thought well, alright, I guess we're doing this. They slapped some numbing agent in my mouth, they did not place it where they were going to inject the anesthetic. They also started right away without letting it take effect, so that was fun. I've never had a more painful/uncomfortable anesthetic injection before. Then it seemed like they were trying to set some land speed record. They almost immediately started drilling and when I told them I could feel it, they just hit me with some more anesthetic and went back to work. One nerve was having a hard time getting numb and instead of waiting 10 minutes to let the anesthetic do its work, they just kept injecting me with more and more and more anesthetic and then immediately going back to work. I had to stop them 3 or 4 times and it was very uncomfortable/painful. I ended up just putting up with the pain just get it over with. The shaking hands while using the needle was unsettling too. It was becoming very frustrating, and it's hard to speak up because at a certain point your are partially numb, and you do have a hole drilled your teeth, and you need to get that filled in. To top it off, the cleaning was the least thorough cleaning I've ever received from a dental office.

I will not be returning.

Jaesoon got me checked in while verifying my insurance and got me seen same day with no appointment. Easy documents! Brandon asked me to remove my dimple piercings for an X-ray and when I told him I couldn’t, he reassured me it was fine. I loved that I didn’t need to take them out! Very nice of Brandon. Don’t get me started on Dr. James, he was so kind, knowledgeable and courteous. He was not too rough at all. He recommend lots of options but never forces you to make a decision. I love his honesty as well. I’ve gone to one dental clinic called BTY Dental and it was a disaster. Glacier is the best dental clinic I personally have gone to. I highly recommend. Please do not go to BTY Dental, instead please come here because you won’t regret it. All 3 gentlemen worked on my teeth today and I’ve never been happier about my teeth until today. Thank you Dr. James, jaesoon, and Brandon.

The team at Glacier dental made the whole process very easy for me. I will definitely be back. They contacted my insurance to clarify everything before starting unlike other dental places that would be vague about what insurance they accept. I just went in for a cleaning/checkup but I’m looking forward to getting Invisalign with them later this year.

PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING YOU!!! I am from out of town visiting Anchorage and had a small piece of a filling come out. No pain at all, just wanted a temporary filling where it fell out until I can get home. My insurance showed Glacier Dental was in-network, and after talking to an insurance rep, it should be less than $10 out of pocket. I showed up for my appointment the next morning to get a temporary filling placed, but I was told it was going to cost me $190! I asked them for what, and I was told the doctor wanted to use a different insurance code. I got out of the chair and left Glacier Dental and called my insurance company. Aetna told me Glacier Dental was wanting to use a code that was out-of-network and for emergency pain control. I called Glacier Dental back and asked them why they are using coding that was totally wrong and as far as I was concerned they were committing insurance fraud. They had multiple excuses. I drove back to Glacier Dental with the Aetna representative on my phone. I gave my phone to the gal behind the desk so she can chat with Aetna. Glacier Dental finally decided to use the correct code and my charge for my temporary filling ended up being only $7.20 out of pocket. The dentist did fix my tooth, however, he was clearly irritated and very rude. I wonder how many patients he over charges and gets away with it! I think I still will be turning Glacier Dental in to the State Board and Medicare. Maybe an audit will be done in order to protect patients.

The service is fast, staff is so friendly. Most Clean dental place I've ever been. Anton was very helpful and professional, made sure my children was taken care of. I would also like to thank Dr. Hyung and Assist. Sohyun for taking care of my children, made sure I understood what was going on. I would recommend Glacier Dental to everyone.
