The receptionist was very helpful regarding my insurance which is a newer, trickier HMO. They took more X-rays than I have ever had (quickly). The cleaning was done by the dentist, probably not as gently as I’d prefer but got the job done. I might have given more stars if they had a place to rinse and spit versus a sucking straw and water spray which the hygienist is in control over.

Dr. Shweta Jain - If I can give this place ZERO stars I really would. I never leave reviews but this was the WORST EXPERIENCE. After over an HOUR of wait, the doctor tries to force me into a General Exam when I clearly booked a CAVITY appointment. Mid-conversation, she was pushing my chair back and forcefully starting my exam. On top of that, the office smelled like SEWER WATER and the x ray machine had mold on it. Unless you want an uninformed and rude dentist, and an UNHYGENIC dental experience, save yourself and choose another doctor!!

Dr.Jain was excellent but your customer service lady was not cooperating.She is a new lady.For Cleaning (Fluroid treatment) I was not told that for this treatment I had to pay from my pocket. She charged me $37.50 which I didn’t agree. But I paid.

I have been very satisfied with my experience with Dr Jane and Gentle Dental in Laguna Woods. As a 73 year old, I’m not sure I would have survived without the removal and replacement of all my teeth that has occurred during the last 2 years. I had an unfortunate history of extensive dental conditions that were no longer reparable. I’m sure I was a high risk candidate but will be forever grateful for the additional health and time I expect to benefit from this opportunity. Repair of a lifelong sinus issue was an unexpected bonus that I would classify as a miracle. God has blessed me that I came so close to becoming a dental fatality. I thank everyone at Gentle Dental in Laguna Woods for this new opportunity to make it a few more years.

Awful place, first of all I asked to extract my tooth because it was much cheaper than heal it. The doctor convinced me that she will cure it,she fixed root canal and then she cut more than half of the tooth to put crown. It’s get too expensive and me opinion absolutely useless and nobody tells you the real price before they start. After all doctor left me more than 1,5 hours and I spent half of my day in this place. Not recommending and don’t be afraid to stay on your own what you want. Or even better travel to other countries,with tickets it’s much cheaper that here

I originally found the Gentle Dentle Laguna Woods practice from a Google search so I did not know what to expect. I had an abscessed tooth and was going on my honeymoon in 10 days so I was feeling very stressed. The entire staff was very caring, compassionate, and extremely professional. I was offered an immediate appointment and was greeted by a very nice and personable receptionist upon my arrival. The practice uses the latest technology in Xray and scanning. Dr. Jain reviewed my condition with me and clearly described several possible options to me especially given my circumstance of leaving the country soon. She was very attentive to detail and she truly made sure I was 100% satisfied with the work that was performed on my teeth. I do not have dental insurance and was stressed about the potential cost of the options presented. The office manager presented all the costs in a very easy to understand manner and applied the discount using the dental savings membership I had joined. Their pricing for major dental work (I had an extraction and bridge work performed) was very reasonable. The first version of the bridge that was created by the dental lab did not fit well and was not constructed to my satisfaction. Dr. Jain adjusted it as best possible and applied it as a temporary bridge for me to use until I returned from my honeymoon trip. She gave me temporary adhesive and instruction how to use it in case the temporary bridge came loose during my travels. She sent my impressions and scans to a different facility at no cost to me to produce a new crown. The second crown fit perfectly. I would highly recommend Dr. Jain and the staff at Gentle Dentle Laguna Woods.
