Gentle Dental Ahwatukee

I really liked the Ahwatukee Gentle Dental office the most. I recently had some work done and I am not the best patient, I have much anxiety. I have been a patient of Dr. Bret Ford for 20 years. Dr. Ford has the very best chair side manner and in my opinion does the very best “ painless & gentle”dentistry in the valley. I would honestly recommend Dr.Ford and this dental team to anyone seeking thorough, quality care.

Everyone was very nice, treated me well and knowledgeable. I didn’t give 5 stars because I went in for a checkup and cleaning and found out that they don’t do a typical cleaning like every dentist I’ve ever been to, instead they develop a cleaning plan that you must pay extra for. That may be a better cleaning, but they wouldn’t even give me a “standard” cleaning that you typically get at a dentist. Besides that it was a good experience.

The doctor Ms. Blake couldn’t give me a confidence answer has to what should be done if I should get a crown sooner or later which now makes me feel like I don’t know what I should do. Also, the receptionist had a hard time trying to figure out my insurance which made me 45 minutes late to my appointment and this made me late to pick up my baby. All around terrible visit. I’ve been to this office for years and this was the worse experience yet.

she was very nice and sweet but not very helpful. i went in for a toothache and they did x-rays and poked around and referred me out. didn't give anything for pain or possible infection. only when i said i had been taking tylenol did she say oh, yeah just keep taking that. :-( when i was telling her what was going on she was very nonchalant with me. again se was sweet but not helpful

Dr Tina was awesome! She shared her analysis and it was thourough, insightful, and left me with a feeling comfortable and empowered to begin treatment in a staged and organized way. She also provided a combination of pharmaceuticals that arrested the discomfort of an apparent infection which left me feeling so much better in just a couple of days. I just have a couple more days of meds and an appointment on 8/20 to begin treatment in earest!!!

I had a pleasant experience at Gental Dental. This includes the Dentist to the office staff, and also the Dental Hygienist, they were all kind and courteous. I was informed of my dental care plans, and were concerned about my dental health. I had a great patient experience. Thank you so much Gental Dental!!! Avis Stubblefield

Curleisha is a wonderful hygienist. I've been seeing her for a little over a year now. Very kind and very talented at her craft. She walks through all the steps with you and the importance of dental hygiene, keeping you informed.

I wish I could do 0 stars. They try to upsell you too much, too constantly even if you ask them to stop. Also they charged my wife $79 dollars for an Xray when we clearly stated we didn't approve ANY service our insurance didn't cover. they REASSURED everything would be covered, otherwise they won't do the procedure and now we just received this statement in the mail. I should've seen the reviews before vising this place. I simply can't believe this place is still in business. EDIT: I spoke with Will, the practice manager and he said they will speak with the employee but won't write off the charge. Once you sign the "good faith estimate" you're basically agreeing to pay anything your insurance doesn't approve.
