I never give reviews, but I decided to do one today. Dr Genco is an excellent Dentist. He has been my Dentist for a few year. I have had teeth pulled, cavities filled and also root canals done. He has done a excellent job and never had a problem.I would recommend him very highly.

I went to Dr. Genco some years ago at the Scranton location. After my 2 cavities were drilled and filled my bite was never the same again and he created and food trap which causes food to get stuck in said space so one needs to floss every single time you eat something or you have food stuck in the area. Annoying! After this work was completed he told me I needed root planing work done. According to 2 other dental opinions, this was false so I’m assuming he just wanted to make some extra money by doing unneeded work. After leaving his practice I have had repeated issues with my top left back quadrant costing me lots of money. Do not see this dentist unless you want future problems where he his done his handiwork and want to have unnecessary work done.

Dr. Genco does superb work and has a great attention to detail. He and his staff are super professional, accommodating, and cordial. Dr. Genco takes the time to thoroughly explain things and go over options for treatment. He never rushes you as a dentist. I highly recommend both him and his office.

I have no idea what the other reviewer is talking about. I had the same situation happen to me.. I was NOT a patient but needed an emergency extraction.. not only did they see me immediately but Diane at the front desk was/ is very pleasant, accommodating, and professional... all I can say about that is if you slam a phone down in someone's ear expect the same respect in return..Sue the dental hygienist has such a soft gentle touch, she is always pleasant, not to mention very good at her job and as for the Dr....he's just wonderful! Dr. Genco has fixed/repaired many of my spoty work done by lazy dentists that I saw in my past. he always comes up with a care plan. And works with you.. I don't have insurance and he's willing to only do the work I can afford at the time.. all in all, my husband and I love it here, and have never had a negative experience with any of the staff or their capabilities...

The best dentist in the area. His entire staff are great. Professional, clean and thorough. We are a local summer camp and they have always helped us when we've had kids and staff who need dental work in the summer. Fair and clear pricing. I have no hesitation in recommending Dr. Genco.

Im new to the area and i had an emergency toothe extraction. i called around to find a price on how much this would cost. I talked with the receptionist diane she proceeded to ask me questions and than ask for my social i said i dont feel comfortable giving my social over the phone. She immediatly snapped back at me saying that i cant tell you a price without sending it threw.i have never had a dentist office ask for my social over the phone ever so that gave me suspicion so i hung up on diane because im a cautios person and i couldnt get a visit with any other dentist so i called back and they told me if i came in now i could possibly be helped. All i wanted was a price so i knew how much i was going to pay. i show up she tosses the clipboard my way doesnt say a word to me. i filled the paperwork out and told her im the guy who called that doesnt have an appointment. She responded immediately with attiude saying i know who you are. The 2 dental assistants were very polite and made me feel welcomed. As for everybody else they made me feel like i was not wanted and i felt like all they wanted was my money and i got the feeling that they thought i wasnt going to pay which offended me i just wanted answers. When i went to leave Diane told me the price of my co pay i asked for the total price and again she gave me attiude. So i confronted her and said are you having a bad day because i feel your taking it out on me. she said excuse me with more attiude and said you hung up on me. I didnt know that a professional business would hold a grudge. I hung up because i felt like i was bieng scammed. worst dental office that ive ever been to thanks for fixing my teethe but i didnt have a choice and if anybody has a choice DO NOT come here.Everybody has a bad day but its unprofessional to act like that to a future customer/patient.

Punctuality 0/5, follow through on what was discussed and agreed 0/5, attitude 10/5. I understand that you might be running late sometime, but the staff needs to understand that clients are on a schedule too. The attitude was mesmerizing. Who knows, maybe i drew the short stick but 5/5 would not recommend. All in all just a waste of time.

Dr. Genco and his team did an absolutely amazing job fixing my chipped front tooth! Definalty recommend!
