It is very disappointing that you schedule an appointment time, verify the number of people in front of you when you arrive, and then have additional walk-ins taken before you after waiting over an hour past the appointment time. The response from staff was, “this is how it is at urgent cares. You should make an appointment with your family doctor if you want to be seen at your appointment time.” I will not go back to this facility again.

I’ve been here a few times for myself and my kids health needs. Our regular provider makes appts weeks in the future so it’s nice to able to walk-in and be seen. I’ve been in/out in an hour or less each time (Geisinger ER took 8 Hrs) so i don’t know what people complain about. I am very grateful for Urgent Care. My kids got much-needed medical attention and Rx sent to the pharmacy quickly. Isn’t that the point? People should check their entitlement at the door. Stay sick at home and don’t crowd the waiting room.

DONT GO HERE ! Staff is extremely rude, I waited for a hour, i was next on the list, I look up at the screen that tells you how long before you’re seen and the they added and additional hour and 30 minutes!! When I was supposed to be seen in 5 minutes. When I asked them why it’s going to be another hour and half the women at the front desk was extremely rude and said “there are people here with more serious issues then you “ like excuse me ? Every unprofessional, very rude, no organization or consideration for people time. I get if there is an emergency that someone could need to go before but there is no reason to be so unprofessional. Like honey are you an urgent care facility or an emergency room? Pick one. They also could do a way better job with social distancing their waiting room, and enforcing mask. I am also almost positive they violated Hyppa complaining about how another patient chop their finger off to me!

My daughter had an appointment at 2pm did not get seen until 3:05 pm. That is typically not a problem when its busy but it been no more than 3 other people within the hour.

The woman at the front desk couldn’t even look up from her cell phone as she asked me name and pointed at a computer for me to check in. I waited 45 minutes to see someone even though I made an appt ahead of time. The nurse, Ariana, was SO rude. She asked questions and didn’t wait for an answer, speaking over me. She repeatedly just spoke over me and talked as if she were in a hurry, and couldn’t be bothered. I wouldn’t go back.

What's the point of having a phone when it doesn't get answered. Then when you call back they pick it up and hang up on you. I'm so sorry that me getting my child's test results is soooo stressful for you. I completely understand that you may be understaffed and stressed but that the job that YOU signed up for. Picking up the phone just to hang up completely unprofessional!!

Geisinger spends millions upon millions building these new clinics but yet can't adequately staff them. They advertise as a convenient, walk-in clinic, unfortunately i found out the hard way that they are closed most days because they have nobody to work. Maybe you should focus on retaining employees instead of spending millions on your empty building. Healthcare is not about patient care at all, it's about real estate. Making sure they have a clinic wherever a competitor opens theirs. Do better Geisinger.

You go online to Geisinger Careworks, choose the location nearest you and you can pick your appointment times. It's fast easy and convenient if you don't need to go to the ER but you do need medical attention. Because there are so many locations throughout the area you will find a place close to you. And the best part - it gives you waiting times for each location some places are busier than others so you can choose where you would like to go
