Make sure you speak at a submissive volume and praise the staff for their laziness, otherwise you will get hung up on and ignored.

This place is a joke!! A few of the staff members are great to work with but others are there just for a paycheck! VETERANS aren’t their top priority!! Guess I’ll file a complaint with Patient Advocacy in D.C. and let it trickle down. I’d rather deal with Pittsburgh and the traffic instead of dealing with these clowns!!

Tried for two weeks to get a refill on a prescription and they are useless.
My outside PCP has faxed the refill request three times and nothing. What they do with these? Called numerous times and can't talk to anyone... claims they will have someone call, but no one does.

This rating is being generous! My husband is a disabled vet and this facility is exactly what everyone complains about regarding the VA being so unorganized and non-responsive to its patients needs. Actually, it shouldn’t be blamed on the VA, this should be blamed on the medical staff that is working there! First, if you get results of tests and/or information regarding a patient, call your patients back and let them know what’s going on, it shouldn’t be the responsibility of the vet to contact the office multiple times looking for answers and call backs and never get them! Then when you do get the results, how professional it is for medical staff to read the report in medical terms to a vet that doesn’t understand it, then when he asks what it means they say, ā€œit’s not good, it’s just not good!ā€ Come on, really?! I am a medical professional myself and you never tell a patient that, it is so bad on their part. Explain it to them in laymen terms or if you don’t know, tell them you don’t really know what all it means, and have someone that knows provide the info to them. If you don’t like your job and don’t like to take care of patients as your hired for, then find another job! It is now 3weeks from the first phone call to them and still have not got much accomplished, other then when he went to VA ER, where they did more for him in 4hrs then the clinic did in 3 weeks!

And again.....
Same issue as last time, had test results done, no call to hear of results, had to call and find out and of course medical staff said to finish the antibiotics I’m on for it and I said I’m not on antibiotics they were supposed to let me know the results then call me in a prescription if it came back that I needed it. Unorganized!!!!!! AND the lady that answers the phone, SERIOUSLY, get a new job!!!! You are such a miserable person and are so nasty when you talk to people, if you hate your job that bad, quit, you don’t need to give callers attitude just because you are miserable.

this facility is absurd. I call at 4:58 pm to find out why they keep sending me a letter. The lady answers and places me on hold... I hold for 5 minutes, then it kicked me to the afterhours operator who said that no body was in the office and that I would have to call again tomorrow...
unfortunately, I work 8-4 when I finally get to my phone it's around 4:45-4:50. So I guess we will continue to play phone tag. since someone in the office wanted to be petty and click me to hold so that they didn't have to answer the call

So glad I don't have to deal with this clinic anymore...
