Going off of Aaron's review here, for i was there at the same time.
To clarify what he is talking about, they decided to divert the treatment funds to convert one of the units to a Daycare. I was there for around 2 years, in in that time, they "lost" all my things that were in storage. I say "lost", I found half my clothing when they forced all the boys on my unit to help clean out the donations closet. They told me I cannot keep them because i could not prove they were mine. The funniest part about the whole thing was all the "donated" clothing were taken directly to the dump. All the clothes, which several youth (including me!) could definitely use. Most of us did not have parents who were able to bring us clothes, let alone afford to send us any. The whole experience was absolute garbage. The only positive outcome of me being there was I got way ahead of my schooling.
I could definitely say that before i lived there, i was happy. That hellscape made me violent, depressed, and gave me even bigger trust issues than before I was there. Please, for the love of God and your children, Don't send any of them here.

I have been to the treatment center twice the first time i was their for a year and a half the second time ten months and believe it or not i would repeat the year and a half before the 10 months. in my 10 months the kids are disrespectful some of the staff aren't positive and act all depressed and worn out and makes living there over whelming. For the love of God find a better and healthier place for your children. Fcsa will mentally and emotionally break your kids. It’s a very unhealthy living space for kids.

My daughter spent 10 months at BGH. I had never slept better knowing she was safe at night. The staff was for the most part professional and caring. We went through a transition phase with new therapists however got right back on track with family therapy. They tried very hard to make sure my daughter would be successful transitioning back to home life. I would sent her back in a minute. Thank you BGH

My daughter has been there less then 90 days communication has been horrible . Today 3-2-2016 my daughter was trying to tell me what was going on and was told she has to change the subject . Why isn't my child allowed to talk to me . This place is shady . They lie tell you one thing and do the complete opposite . I've been told my child was doing good , then she tells me different . They don't even deserve one star . Every number I have leads back to her unit can't reach dr. Lreavw messages with people no one calls back talked to director of facility more then I have anyone . When admitted my child I was told I'd get 15 min 2x day took almost 3 months to get them . Run away ... If you want to be part of your child's life... Run fast .
