They feed you crap, retain your medications when I brought them in with me for a reason. They are beyond stupid, lazy & inconsiderate. They only give you some meds. I saw a psychiatrist & psychologist & all they told me is to never come back lol. Pathetic health system.

It was Not what I expected. First, the staff is really friendly, however, I found it more of a place to rest. Second, they just gave out medication as us clients laid around/watching TV. I did get my prescription altered, which is good. Anyway, overall, I chilled on a chair for a day in a half. On a positive note, the food was pretty good to me, though. Just…there can be better approaches to dealing with a disabled individual besides just medicating to care for her/him. So, with this, I gave it 3 stars.

This should be criminal. All I wanted was n increase in my Wellbutrin. Instead sr told me I wasn't good at school and wasn't made for it, that my dad beats my mom, and because I cae weed and only weed that she wouldn't increase my Wellbutrin. Don't go here, I'll make you suicidal. It made me start idealizing heavily and I had to go the ER who FILLED IT NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Literally what is this woman on?

Please under no circumstances come here. I unfortunately had no choice but to be transferred here as I was unconscious coming from an Er place on 5150 (where I also suffered abuse). They run this place like a torture facility. I was mocked by staff. I was searched in my sleep without consent (I know this because I had on something underneath my gown and it was no longer there when I woke up) 3 other patients tried to instigate fights with me that staff barely tried to stop by yelling from their desk at the other patient. I truly will never seek help in crisis again because of severe ptsd from my experience here and the hospital. I am hopeless in getting justice because my mental health can be used as a justification to say I made everything up. Please if you’re reading this and struggling, find someone you trust because this system is overflowing with corruption and greed. I just can’t wrap my mind around wanting to help people, getting a degree in it, and end up succumbing to a power struggle to feel superior to extremely vulnerable people.

Came in at 7:40am before the facility even opened, then i wait in line until 8am (open time) and you won’t believe this when I say it but I literally had to be waiting another 5 hours until, yes you read that right 5 hours, waited until 1:00pm before they started meeting with the doctor, and the doctor isn’t even in the same clinic you literally get on a video call with someone who’s in San Diego county. I didn’t leave until 2:14pm. No exaggeration when I say this but you will not want to come here if you need help

I love this place. As someone with bipolar, if I don't have a current doctor because of insurance changes or being in between doctors, they always have made sure I've at least gotten refills of what I've been talking. And they have been very kind. One time a sister of a guy with mental illness was going off iyn him in the lobby for being such a trouble to their family and the staff told her she would have to leave if she continued disturbing the peace and bothering him. That really showed me that they respect people with mental illnesses. The location in Marengo Street is also great and very anti-stigma. I have already been treated with respect and am so grateful for that.

Honestly they need to close this place down. They have patients sit in the waiting room for over 4 hours. They claim to always have only one doctor working, doesn’t matter the day or time. I can always tell when businesses just collect government funding and do the absolute minimum to meet requirements, and this is one of those places.

If you are a new patient, not established. Do NOT come at night. They will turn you away no matter the circumstance. Be prepared to wait for hours, be prepared to be turned away, be prepared to do this for days before actually being seen whether a new or established patient. I was in desperate need for my lithium but kept getting turned away. I told the gentleman on the phone that my prescription ran out, I tried multiple times to see a doctor and I would have to go un-medicated. His response was "ok, have a great day" then hung up.
