I've been a client of this urgent care for over two years. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful, and they have knowledgeable doctors. The place is clean.
I saw Dr. Sharon today, and it was refreshing to see a female doctor with such a friendly attitude.
I would suggest that they prominently display signage encouraging the use of masks for all people inside the clinic.

My daughter and I arrived at 7:45 pm. Their published hours note that they close at 8pm. Their posted sign on the door states the same. The door was locked and Jenny the receptionist ignored my knocking. I then called and she put me on hold. I could see her through the window and she was just sitting there while I was on hold. Another individual saw me (an MA I think) and he was kind enough to let me in through the back door and said it wasn’t a problem to be seen. I waited at the front desk while Jenny ignored me. Finally she looked up and said it wasn’t possible to be seen because they take their last patient at 7:30 pm even though that wasn’t published. I questioned that and she huffed her way to the back and stated to staff that I could not be seen. She booted us out and told me to come back in the morning. She seemed very bothered and clearly wanted to make sure she did not have to stay past 8pm. I understand it can be frustrating staying late however there wasn’t an ounce of compassion and she displayed zero customer service skills. I run a busy and successful medical practice and we would never treat a patient this way.

Saw Sharan the NP today. She was lovely. Unfortunately I have Covid I thought it was just the flu. I would return to this location parking was very convenient and not a super long wait time to be seen by a provider.

Went yesterday (5/8/24), and not going to lie, my anxiety was going crazy when calling to make an appointment because the reviews for some of the Exer Urgent locations are appalling. This is far from the case for the West Los Angeles - Pico Blvd office. The reviews on yelp were accurate, which is why I chose it in the first place. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very kind, and when I got there it wasn't any different. All of the staff were really nice, and they two women in the front office were playing some amazing bands on low volume, which I thought was cool because doctor offices don't really play rock haha~ They were lovely. The guy who did my vitals was very kind, attentive, and patient even though I could tell he was tired. I came within the last hour so seeing the actual doctor was as thorough as I liked and his bedside manner felt a little stiff, but again they were closing so it's understandable. He was still nice as well, and asked if I had any questions or concerns. I didn't feel rushed at all. Don't let the 3.9 on their website scare you. I recommend going based on yelp and Google, not their website links because some locations have a 4.5, but when you read them comments? Gorl-, somebody lying. Not West Los Angeles though, they were amazing.

I came in with a work related injury, and needed to have an x-ray. It came back clean. The pain I described, all 3 times I visited, was that of a fracture. (I've had one before, and the pain was the same.) I was told I may need an MRI if the pain persists etc. It did. I waited for insurance to approve an orthopedic specialist. In the meantime I went back the 3rd time and got Dr. Cory Spurlock. I tried to explain the fracture pain etc to him, and that the pain was localized to my lower shin/ankle area and that I needed another x-ray. He was incredibly dismissive and explained that he saw my film and confirmed no fracture. I was in pain and started crying. He said, "Now, what's really going on?" Long story longer. It's been 1 month since my injury. I had my appointment with the specialist on Friday. He took an x-ray and showed me the ankle fracture I've been hobbling around with. I gave 2 stars because the rest of the staff is awesome.

I had an accident skateboarding and I broke my wrist/forearm, I went into the urgent care with a self-made ice pack, and my hoodie wrapped around me to stabilize my arm, which was in a lot of pain since I just broke it. They told me I had to pay 60$ so they can begin to take care of me since my insurance is “closed” and they can’t confirm that I have insurance. First of all, my insurance is available to call 24/7. 2. of all, I spoke to my insurance later on and they have said that I was not supposed to pay ANYTHING out of pocket. and lastly, i was in too much pain to start arguing and to call my insurance. It took around 45 min until a doctor finally let me in to one of the rooms and then left me again for another 20 minutes without helping my arm at all, even though I have said that I'm in a lot of pain. They then finally gave me ice packs. They did x-rays with my arm and the doctor told me to “just turn” my hand so he could take an x-ray which I wasn't able to do since I BROKE my wrist. Duh.
Then they left me waiting in a room again for another 15 minutes until a doctor told me that they will send me the x-ray and the results the next day. I had to ask for every single information like what I should do for pain or if I should ice it and so on.. They gave me a thing to stabilize my arm with and another cooling pack and told me to go see a orthopedic specialist.
By the time we were done, it was 8:30 PM so the urgent care was closed and I had to leave. They put all of my stuff in a box and then put that box outside on the streets of LA with my skateboard next to it, let me out with my broken arm said good night and locked the door. I am a 20-year-old woman, I've told them that I do not have an Uber yet, that I AM STILL IN PAIN and they still basically kicked me out the office with a broken wrist, pain, and my belongings that I wasn't able to carry and just left me on the street next to homeless people. What kind of person does that? I didn't have a clue where to go nor did I have the strength to protect myself if something were to happen. I do not recommend this place because of the actions of this staff.
