I was treating at this practice with Dr. Stec for 15 years. It's been 5 years since my last visit and I had no idea that he is no longer part of the group (website still has Dr. Stec listed as provider. I had an issue with my ear and they were able to see me the next day, but as a new patient with Dr. Mariotti.

I was in the exam room and it was disgusting! The walls are in disrepair, there is a big promotional banner for hair plugs (in an ENT office- not sure how these 2 things are related), but what was gross was significant amount of dust on both the counter and the instrument table. I swiped my finger on the tool table and it left an impression from all the dust, which leads me to believe these tools are also unclean and not sterile!

Dr. Mariotti comes in and I explain my 15 year history with my ear, he did not have my chart for review and asked several questions that he could have easily found answers to in my file. He made several negative comments about Dr. Stec, which I found unprofessional and disconcerting, given their past partnership and with whom I had a trusting relationship for many years. His remarks were off-putting. He was very sure of himself, spoke to me in a condescending manner, treated me like I don’t know anything about my own history. Dr. Mariotti's negative comments about Dr. Stec, his lack of familiarity with my medical history, and his condescending manner left me feeling uncomfortable.

I would not recommend this practice anymore! I would not recommend Dr. Mariotti for any consultation or any treatment!

I called for a prescription refill 2 times on Th 1/2/25 and 3 times on Fri 1/3/25. No one answered the phone on either days so I left recorded messages. I called again today, Monday, 1/6/25 and left another message. Finally an office person got back to me and switched me to a nurse who could not put up my chart to see what the prescriptions were! They only send prescriptions in once a week on Wednesday!!! Unbelievable!

All these reviews about personality or lack thereof...I want a good doctor/surgeon, personality is optional. Dr Mariotti was appropriate. There were no problems with any of his staff. I worked in Healthcare for over 30yrs and ran a specialty medical practice. I saw nothing along the lines of the previous negative reviews. Highly recommend.

I was told I could not go back with my wife of her appointment, I had information that would help with the visit. The girl was a little snooty, I was there on all other appointments . Why the change, we have no problem at Geisinger ENT

Dr. Marriotti has no personality or bedside manner. I took my daughter there for severe dizziness and headaches. He consulted my family doctor telling her he thought my daughter had PTSD and extreme anxiety. I guess he didn't know the only one that could diagnose those conditions are a psychologist. I wouldn't trust him to diagnose anything. Anyone should think twice about making an appointment with him. He is the worst.

The only reason I am giving them a 1 is because Dr. Stec was very professional and quick after my 1 year old son finally got to see him after 1+ hour wait. The staff here is very unprofessional and slow. The rooms have not been cleaned in decades. It was extremely dirty. The wait is horrendously long. The ladies at the desk will not answer the phone. It goes right to voicemail because they have the phone off the hook.

I called there today about a referral cause nobody called on Friday and was told if they didn't call on fri to call on Monday. My boyfriend was there on Thursday and they claimed that he wasn't there. I said yes we were there. I told the girl about me about the blanket then she said that she remembered us being there and that we must not have checked out. I said that they were supposed to make an appointment for him and that he needs to take the first available appointment. What a waste of time. They don't know what their doing over there and I didn't want him to wait until June to go to the ent at geisinger.Again today is tuesday and had to call again they said they faxed the paperwork over to the dr and won't tell us who they faxed it to and to wait for the call.

Dr. Stec is an easy going doctor. That isn't the problem. It's the staff there that is very rude. They do not have phone etiquette, never return phone calls, and always seem to be confused about what is going on.
