Miss Evangeline was a terrific teacher, I passed the exam with flying colors. She even helped me with job placement.

I would highly recommend this school in Fontana. Ms. Evangeline is a great teacher. She is dedicated to impart her knowledge to the students to be ready to be members of the health care team. She is hard on the students at times especially with the skills but don’t interpret her ways to be mean, she just wants you to learn and because of that, it made the State skill exam not so hard for me. Besides, what’s important at the end of the day, is to pass the State exam, right? Ms. Evangeline might not be good enough to some but she was perfect for me. She is so accommodating if you wanted time to practice your skills. She wants everybody to pass. Out of 30 students in our class, only one didn’t pass the written exam. How’s that for a passing rate of this school! My experience with Eastlake Medical College was great! Thank you Ms. Evangeline! Thank you also to Ms. Angela for squeezing me in that class!

I would recommend this place to individuals who are dedicated to learning and want to start their career as soon as possible. You can complete this program within a month which is quite fast compared to other programs I have seen. My professor Mrs. Evangeline was very supportive and encouraging of our success. I especially appreciated how Mrs. Evangeline always explained the importance of certain steps/techniques and information. She always answered our questions and she provided us with tips as to how to make our job easier as future CNAs or how to better care for patients. While others may disagree with the statements above, I still encourage those considering this school to not hesitate because of x professor. If you read the materials given to you (which is part of our responsibility considering the program is accelerated), take practice exams, participate, and practice your skills you will be just fine. If the schedule/ work seems to much, which there is no shame in that, then this is not for you.

I recommend this program to anyone looking for as solid start into the world of medicine. Although we completed the course in about a month, it's still remarkably faster compared to others I've come across i.e. Chaffey. Mrs. Evangeline, our instructor, played a pivotal role in our success, offering support and encouragement to those who seek it. She was always available to clarify doubts and provided practical tips for our future roles as real-world CNAs and for the Exam. Despite differing opinions, I urge prospective students not to be deterred by isolated incidents. Diligently studying the provided materials, participating actively, and honing your skills through practice are key to succeed. If you're committed to learning and ready to embrace the accelerated pace, this school is perfect for you.

I highly recommend Eastlake Medical College's CNA program to anyone who is willing to put in the work, attend classes regularly, pay attention, be on time, and, of course, study diligently. If you're not willing or able to commit to these basics, I would say this class is not for you. However, if you're dedicated and motivated, you'll thrive in this program.

I took my State board exam today and it was a walk over. I want to use this medium to appreciate our teacher Mrs Evangeline Calagnas, you set such a high standard for us in the preparations towards this exam, that coming on the exam day, it was so easy to achieve. I am grateful for your time ma’am, God bless you.
The proximity of the location of the school was close to me and made it easier for me to commute . Aside that our time was extended during our class due to some logistical reasons, I had a great time obtaining my CNA certificate here and I made new contacts with my classmates.👏

This is the best school ever Mrs.Evangline is the best teacher ever she taught us very well. She made sure we was ready for the exam. Days we didn't have school she would come in on her off days to come to the school to allow us to practice our skills. She wanted to make sure we was prepared and confident with us doing our skills. The girl Fernanda L that left a review a few days to a week ago is wrong because our course was suppose to be 15 days but Mrs.Evangline had an asthma attack and she couldn't really talk but she still showed up to teach. Even tho she wasn't able to cover everything in that day she had an asthma attack she extended the program to make sure she covered everything in the course. The girl Fernanda missed so many days, she wasn't listening during class she kept being on her phone and the teacher had to let her know to get off her phone during class. She also missed days for clinicals and Mrs.Evangline still let her continue the course. Because if you miss one day in clinicals you automatically fail, and Mrs.Evangline is so lovely that she didnt fail her.So if she didn't pass the exam she can blame her damn self no one else. Because everyone in Mrs.Evangline class pass the exam so you know she did her thing. I just wanted to let it be known that Mrs.Evangline is the best and she did her thing sick and all. I just wanted to say thank you so very much Mrs.Evangline you are the best and I appreciate you. You keep doing your thing even tho Fernanda came to the class not serious about her education it's not your fault you did what you was suppose to do and that is teach us to prepare us for our cna career. And you did exactly that and we love you for everything you did for us.

Do NOT come here, or if you do make sure you know who your teacher will be beforehand. I’ve heard great things about Professor Alex so I decided to come here, however upon enrolling and giving my down payment I found out our instructor would be different. This instructor doubles as a supervisor for people who are taking their state board test and you can tell she prioritized that job over teaching our class. To begin with we were told our class would start on June 4th and go for 15 days. This was later pushed back to June 25th. They don’t refund your money even if you can’t work your schedule around THEIR date changes. We started June 25th and the teacher canceled class and was about 4 hours late to class (because she was overseeing state exams) all within the first week. This caused them to extend the program ANOTHER week. What was supposed to run from June 25th- July 12th has now been extended to July 18th. This also caused our testing date to be moved back. Not to mention when the teacher is in class, the lectures are droning and do nothing to prepare you for your exam. If you can find another program choose that. The only props I can give to this place is that the location for clinicals does teach you a lot about what real CNA work is like. This place has awful scheduling issues with no regard to what the students can work with and will NOT give you your money back if you have already given a down payment and can no longer work around the fact that the school keeps messing up the dates. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. not to mention if you don’t end up with Professor Alex as your teacher you probably won’t be learning much. do not come here 👎👎.
