DO NOT SEND LOVED ONES HERE! An extended family member was here to recover after a stroke. All children live out of town, so visiting is every couple days, until one child showed up unannounced. They did not wash him to the point where he had bed sores, causing an infection. They wouldn’t care for him so he tried to move himself and his arm became dislocated and was not cared for three days. When he had his stroke his teeth were misplaced by the hospital and now can only consume soft foods. The nursing staff put his only food out of reach and when he finally got , it hardened from sitting out. This man has diabetes so his sugars need to be monitored, and they were providing only one protein shake a day. Because the staff was not caring for him appropriately they decided to put him on hospice. They didn’t want to care for him so basically left him there to rot. When the son was visiting and saw what happened he immediately transferred to ER. Once he got water and passed swallow test he was able to respeak and verbalize he was starving. Hospital was mortified nurses put him on hospice. This man has life left to live!!

I refer to this facility as a hell hole. Rude non caring staff. How they pass any Medicare inspections I can't imagine. Cleanliness does not exist in this facility . Observed "clean linen" on floor just thrown back on linen cast. Observed a penny & a bead on the floor in hall - same spot for 2 weeks- never moved. Halls lined with equipment .Initial few days great food then the absolute worst. Ice cold. Rarely got what was ordered & lucky if she got silverware. Unable to open the milk containers becx of her condition - not one staff member questioned why she never used the milk. Towels/sheets/wash clothes - look like the floor was cleaned with them. My family member was a very complex case as described by multiple physicians. She saw her "attending" house Dr x 1- he popped in to ask who her dr's were. So supposedly reviewed chart- sincerely question this. Her blood pressures were all over the place. Had bowel issues- care giver actually told her " next mess you make you clean up". Another swore at family member. Administration felt no one would do the above - umm can't make that up. Interesting no caregivers wore name tags- wonder why . As a retired medical person - I've worked many places & with lots of different staff. Never ever came across such rude,abusive & non caring unsympathetic staff. I hope you are never in this position & have a family member diagnosed with cancer & treated as poorly as my family member was treated in this facility

The staff
doesn't care about your needs and this includes the nurses.
The food is terrible and the lowest quality imaginable.
I wasn't washed daily nor were my teeth brushed.
The aides can treat u rough. They come when they feel like it. It can be 20 minutes or an hour before an aide comes. They laugh, yell and carry on in the halls especially at night with no regard for the patients.
The aides of course, are overworked and understaffed.
It is a dirty environment and smells of urine and feces.
My bed wasn't changed regularly.
The entrance will remind u of a funeral home.

I have resided here since November 30, 2022 . The staff are very nice and they take care of us very well. My only complaint is that the food isn't very good. Some days the food is good and other days not so good. We take each day as they come. We had bingo today and I won one game. They give us treats for our prize. I picked a pack of chocolate chip cookies. This is a nice place to live.

Poorly ran nursing facility. Saber should’ve cleaned house when they bought the company. You can’t expect positive outcomes when the same problematic people are still in charge. This business is ran on friendships not qualifications. The owners should’ve talked to the employees to get insight on their complaints and concerns. Confidentiality doesn’t exist when voicing problems to the administration. Some staff are permitted to walk off the job without notice and do no call no shows without disciplinary action taken. While others put 2 weeks notices in and are told to leave the premises the same day.
Saber needs to bring in their own administration team, do it can be a fair and professional environment for everyone.

Saber needs to make updates to the building. The lobby needs a serious facelift. The dining area where most of the patients sit daily is very outdated and uncomfortable for guests. Sometimes, that room is not very clean as well. I wish they cleaned and sanitized daily. I'm hopeful that Saber will make some improvements now that they've owned this facility for over a year. The STAFF however is SUPERB!! My mom has been there since June 2024 and I feel like they have all become my family. I can't say enough amazing things about Nurses Kim and Pat and aides Key, Yvonne, Mousda and the other aides!! They ALL do an amazing job taking care of Mom. Director Marianne has been wonderful to work with as well. She's been very kind and understanding. Wendy goes out of her way to schedule doctor's appointments for Mom. She went above and beyond one day and drove to the doctor's office when Mom was being difficult and wouldn't leave. Lindsey and Art in Laundry take care of Laundry on a daily basis. I don't know how they do it!! Jody in activities really cares for the patients and makes sure their brains are stimulated. 24 hour skilled nursing is not fun or easy. I could never do this for mom at home, so I am thankful for this team. It takes a village to take care of a loved one with dementia. Thank you, East End!!

I would not recommend placing your loved ones here, or working here, either way they don’t care about neither, they will fire you for putting the truth in these reviews, they don’t care about the residents & that’s the heart of the building, taking care of the people in need, anybody who works here don’t stay longer then a week, don’t place your loved ones here they don’t care for them, administration is horrible & the nurses? TERRIBLE

Unfortunately, this facility is unable to provide the services and care necessary for patient’s to help improve their quality of life.
Be sure to check in on your Loved One. Follow up that Doctor’s orders are being followed and carried out. Don’t trust that they are because in our case they were not.
Don’t be bullied into signing things.
Always check the dates.
If you do sign get a copy maybe even a witness!
We have responded to the below number many times with no solution to any of our concerns.
If they must be at this Facility !Be sure to check on your Loved Ones! Make sure they are getting the Care that they need.
