Truly the best family owned hometown pharmacy in the area! It's not a show, what you see is what you get, the real deal! The most sincere and caring people, who truly care about their patients. As a transferring patient to the pharmacy, they welcomed us and made the transition so smooth and effortless. Making the switch was the best choice!! There is nothing like a hometown small businesses! But this drugstore reminds you of your grandparents day in the way they treat you. Sam, Missy, and everybody else working there knows your name and remembers it even with masks on I'm ALWAYS greeted as I walk in with HI Suzanne! How are you today? And it's by the owner and pharmacist my prescriptions are always ready so fast 💜 and with care! Everyone is so KIND and give you a personalized experience it doesn't feel like unfortunately how most pharmacies (really most any businesses not just pharmacies) and big box stores feel now days. Where they just don't even take the time to learn your name or anything about you (like your just a number to tick off). I'm blown away by the customer service they are but far the best pharmacy let alone business big or small that I've been too! It's all worth the 30 minute drive outta my way to go there! My doctor's office recommended them and I'm glad they did! If So if your looking to be treated like more than just a number than this is the pharmacy for you. You'll get tested with nothing but dignity, respect, kindness and like an individualized remembered person! Also if your insurance doesn't cover something or your Dr office forgot your pre-authorization (out you just don't have insurance) they have really great prices and work with you to be affordable or your Dr to find an alternative!

Sam the pharmacist is an amazing man so sweet so nice we’ll go to the end of the Earth for you he will call and find you the lowest price he can even if you say no it’s OK cause you don’t want to bother he is going to do it his family has roots so deep his Family was a teacher in the community he is just one of the pillars in the community his staff are all so nice except this one woman I’ve been her name is Messi or Holly I apologized to whichever one is the Nice one, however every time I’m on the phone call I don’t know if it’s just me personally because it’s me the same person every time and I’ve had her on speaker and everybody in my family agrees she is rude to me I don’t know if it’s just me or everybody she is so quick to interrupt you we got through a phone call and I was saying OK thank you so much Have a great day however in the middle of it so right as I got to thank you so much have a she comes in with OK goodbye and hangs up. In person she is very Standoffish not a people person. I don’t know if it’s just to me but I definitely don’t like it it gives me severe anxiety which I already have. Hence the reason I come to the pharmacy horrible severe PTSD and anxiety and I am the nicest person you could ever meet it is in capable of me to be mean or disrespectful.

By far the most kind friendly comfortable pharmacy I've ever been a patron of. The staff knows all customers by name and treats them like family. Sam will go out of his way to find you the best price for your medication if your not covered. Also weather there is 10 people or 1 I've never waited past 5 min for my perceptions.

We drive 30 minutes to get our prescriptions here! Sam is such a kind, welcoming guy who has gotten to know us, our insurance, how we can save additional money and what to use insofar as over-the-counter when we ask him for some help! It's a great feeling to be able to walk out of a pharmacy smiling, with dignity still in tact! This is the only place this has happened to me in try ing any pharmacy, over the last 8 years. His family, who work alongside him, are good extensions of Sam!

I have been going to Sam for years. The whole staff is so friendly and accommodating. If you have any problems with your insurance coverage Sam will take the time to call them for you, even if it takes him all day to get through, to try and rectify the problem. At this pharmacy your not just a number. Every customer that walks through the door is greeted by name. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

First I want to thank Sam and the rest of the staff for consistently being the best pharmacy! I have been going there since 2000-2001 when I was hurt on the job.... Always super fast and very helpful! Not to mention every person that walks in Sam and staff know them by name. I live in Scranton but won't go anywhere else! I've never been to a pharmacy that treats me so well .... they all know me by name and are friendly. Sam is great and is always sure to say goodbye to me and wish me a good day. They are very fast , I've never waited longer then 3-5 mins. I'll never use another pharmacy. So glad my dad told me about Sam and the staff at dunmore pharmacy !! - Kelly Telesk
