Dr. Mead & Dr. Houston Dentistry

Was looking for new dentist for our family of four and never made it past the front office. Tried to schedule appointment for my wife and asked the front desk to verify our dental insurance which seem like a inconvenience for them. They also refused to make appointment unless we drive to the office and fill out forms before making any appointment or knowing the availability. Told them I work 6 days per week 12 hour plus day's, asked if we could come in 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork they refused that option and also refused to email it to us. Told them I never experienced that with any other dentist office. Called 2 other dental offices and made 2 separate appointments both offices asked for our insurance provider and member id number and immediately made the appointment's in less than 5 minutes. Its unfortunate we didn't get to try this place out.

I saw Dr. Houston when my veneer fell off. She replaced it with the wrong color of glue which made the tooth look stained. In the next 10 months of trying to get her to fix her mistake, the office manager kept putting us off telling us they lost the right glue. We eventually gave up and went to another dentist who fixed the tooth. We then asked for Dr Houston to reimburse us the cost and she refused. She made a mistake and refused to take responsibility. It didn't help that her office manager is completely inept. I guess we should have know when Dr Mead berated her in front of us after he found out what she did.

They are both wonderful dentists. Dr Houston has been doing the vast majority of my work. I love her calm demeanor and how she explains what she'll be doing next. They never do things that aren't necessary, but they do tell you what they see, the pros and cons, options and what the long term effects could be. So happy with the work that's been done!

I am so thankful I came across Dr. Houston she is absolutely amazing. I went in today for a tooth extraction. I was so nervous, shaking, crying and she was incredible. Totally calmed my nerves and made my visit good. Along with her assistant Mackenzie! She was by my side the entire time and made sure I was comfortable. I will 100% be coming back as my regular dentist. I can not leave out Irene. She as well is super sweet and very helpful from scheduling my appointment to check out. Thank you again. Dr. Mead, Dr. Houston, hygienist Jenny & the Staff are wonderful! They are friendly and do excellent work. Jenny is thorough and gentle with her cleanings, and has turned me from being tense and nervous during appointments to relaxed and comfortable. Both Jenny and the Doctors give gentle suggestions to help me improve my oral hygiene habits, when I haven't been as diligent as I could have been in my care. Never have I ever felt berated or shamed as I have at other Dental offices. This is the best dental office I have ever been to, hands down!

Dr Houston is amazing. Her staff is wonderful. I called for same day appointment, in pain. They were able to take care of my problem. They didn’t over exam, they took care of the issue at hand. Dr Houston even cares so much. She called later to check on me to make sure I was doing well and if I needed anything at all to feel free to call her. I haven’t had a doctor care that much in a long time. Thank you Dr Houston.

The dental cleaning by Cory was excellent. She’s very calm And caring! Explains each step of the process. As a gentle Steady touch. very thorough. The dental assisting was very confident and quick and taking x-rays. Also very pleasant. The radiology devices mono and painless. Dr. Houston Very invested in how are you doing and Concern with your overall health. Overall they take the time to listen and act on any health concerns. Thank you for your care.

If I had time, I would fill pages of how pleased I am with Dr. Meade and his staff. They are friendly, warm, knowledgeable at their jobs and Dr. Meade is so honest with no pressure to do anything more than you ask but gently offers his consultation in the future to see where you're at with your teeth and gums. I know I need more work done than I specifically made the appointment for, but again he was very good about not even trying to get more money ...how wonderful is that. Yes, I will be going back to him....because I can TRUST him, that is a rarity in this day and age. His Bless Him and his well trained staff! Susan D.
