Marty has been a great Physical Therapist since I started my recovery journey after I ruptured my Achilles back in January 2023. I started my physical therapy in April and currently still continuing it because he wants to help his patients achieve their goal, and that makes a great therapist. He will give you homework to do at home to help you progress faster in your recovery, but will not allow you to over do it and possibly reinjure yourself. If you need a Physical Therapist in Anchorage, I would highly recommend Marty.

Marty has been a great help on this journey to recovery. He has been working with me after my shoulder surgery. Range of motion and strengthening of my shoulder has gotten better and I am able to do more for myself. He has also helped with my knee and hip pain by teaching me better ways to stretch and move to make walking easier. He has helped me transition from using a walker to cains.
He introduced me to Emile to help with my weight as it has been a strugle. Together they strive to help set goals and reach them as well be supporting you every step of the way. Patrick here, a teacher from Bush Alaska. Ever since I've had my ACL surgery, it was hard to start moving around without and do any exercises without professional guidance. Not a lot of therapist were willing to work with me remotely but Marty was the only one who provided me with online teletherapy exercises. It is hard to do physical therapy while in the bush, lacking doctors and specially therapists. But thanks to Marty and his online , I can do my exercises in my time and convenience.
Controlled movements with appropriate techniques and methods are provided with each exercise. The exercises not only helped my knee but also my body to cope up with everyday movements and make it stronger and better overall. And with Marty's positive perspective toward progress, patients will be back to their favorite hobbies and sports in no time!

I had a broken humerus, which meant the elbow & shoulder froze up while the bone healed, and later ended up in Dr. Sanchez's care for physical therapy. I was dedicated in getting the full use of my arm back and he made that happen. His knowledge of the anatomy of the arm and shoulder was key to releasing unused tendons, ligaments, and muscle groups. He developed a slow but steady program that got me to where I wanted to be, full range and use of my shoulder, arm, and elbow.
Earlier in my treatment I had a different therapist, who gave me a new set of movements on each visit with no explanation and evaluated my progress using a angle measurement tool. He gave me the next set and just moved on. Dr. Sanchez worked with me, tailored the movements to my progress, and answered all of my questions. As I progressed he worked specific tendons or muscles to get the full range of motion back. The contrast was night and day!
