doctor was an amazing doctor for me for 16 years and then suddenly discharged me 42 no-show cancellations and it was after I had paid. To top it off after he was finished with me because that is what it felt like he was so rude to me over the phone and belittled me. I would not recommend this doctor for anybody when you have mental issues because he is just going to make you feel more worse over money

Dr. Rains is an excellent psychiatrist. He listens to his patients and applies a Christian viewpoint to modern day problems. He was the first psychiatrist who actually considered the input of my counselor which is necessary to help you resolve any issues you may have.

Just had my first visit, and my mind is blown at how great he was. He was not judgmental at all. I could tell he really cared and was not so full of himself that he didn't care to actually hear his patients. He was amazing at helping me through some anxieties I was struggling with. I would 100% recommend to anyone needing a real doctor. Thank you so much Dr. Rains for all that you did for me today.

Dr. Rains got me in right away and talked with me for a while. He has great staff that was very helpful and very friendly. I couldn't ask for anything better than him or his staff. During our conversation and talking to him he knew exactly what I was going through and knew a lot of my feelings without me even telling him. He explained why I was feeling that way and everything he said made complete sense. Him and his staff did an amazing job and I would recomend him to anybody that needs help. If your needing a great psychiatrist then I definitely recommend him. Thanks Dr. Rains for you and your wonderful staff for your kindness and understanding of my needs.

I had been to many dr before finding dr rains. He was the first to get my diagnosis right. When we found a med that worked great for me he fought my insurance for over a year (bc it was new and had no generic) and now thanks to him my insurance covers it and my bipolar is finally under control!

Horrible office staff. I made my appointment a month in advance. The day of my appointment I called to ask about the location and got asked if I got the message from one of the office staff that was left earlier that morning and I said no. They got on the phone and told me that I couldn’t have an appointment until all the insurance info was done and some of other stuff and then I was asked what insurance I had and I told them and they then told me they didn’t take my insurance!!!!! I waited a month to just to be told on the day of that they didn’t take my insurance and that I couldn’t be seen!!!!! Doesn’t matter how good the doc is when the office staff is completely incompetent!!!!!!
