No one likes to go to the dentist but if you have to go you want to go to a great one. Dr Mattingly and his team are always great to work with. I had an issue with an old crown and root canal. They fixed the tooth with no problems. I’m confident that the tooth will be in good shape moving forward. They send lots of helpful reminders, which is great.

Dr. Mattingly is the best! The entire team is amazing, and they truly take good care of you. I drive 30+ minutes from the East Bay just to see him, and I have a great experience every time. As someone who is often wary of going to the dentist, Dr. Mattingly makes me feel comfortable and is very straightforward about what he is going to do. He is excellent at what he does, and I trust him completely with my teeth.

I think hating dental work is probably true of 99.9% of the world population, but if you live around here, Dr Mattingly is the best. I broke a crown yesterday and was seen at 8AM this morning. By 9:30 I was paying the bill (not much fun since I don’t have dental insurance) and leaving with a new temporary crown. Dr Mattingly and Maria do great work. She works on the temp crown until it fits perfectly. Everyone from the receptionists, dental hygienists, Dr Tan, and all the assistants are the best!

Kind and friendly staff. Arlene is very professional and exhibits pride in her work. Creates a wonderful atmosphere to walk into. The Dental Hygienists are knowledgeable and always willing to listen and give feedback. Friendly and caring.

Dr. Mattingly is patient and kind. Walks you through every step of a procedure to help keep the anxiety down and make you feel at ease and secure.

I've never had an unpleasant experience in over 20 years.

This people in Dr. Mattingly's office are kind and efficient. He and his staff are really great at listening to any concerns about my teeth or general discomfort during dental treatment. One of the things I like best about Dr. Mattingly is that he always explains what he is going to be doing before he does it. By this I mean that WHILE he is working in your mouth, he calmly and kindly tells you step by step what is happening. I think that really helps to reduce dental anxiety.

When it comes to high quality dental care, it was important for me to select a Dentist who came highly recommended. I found Dr. Mattingly through the Diamond Certified group over 10 years ago and I’ve never looked back. He and his amazing staff are the best in their field. Dr. Mattingly is a skilled professional who uses the best that technology has to offer. Over the years I have had many procedures done, most of which were handled in-house. He can also refer you to the best specialists if needed. If you have a fear of dentists, I would definitely recommend this office. The gentle care they provide is very soothing and Dr. Mattingly explains everything as he goes along. Most impressive is how quickly they get you in and out. They run all of their appts on time and are extremely efficient. Gentle hands, excellent bedside manner, no pain….Dr. Mattingly and his staff will always get 5 stars from me 💕.

I recently had an appointment for teeth cleaning and I was elated to have the Dentist, Dr. Tan clean my teeth! She is wonderful! She is very easy to talk to and so calm. She makes you feel at ease no matter what type of dental work is being performed!

Arlene is always so helpful when making appointments! The entire staff is great too!

We always have a great experience and highly recommend this Dentist Office. My husband and I moved out of state and we make it a point to come back to have our yearly appointments!
