While I have no issues with Dr Civatrese, his front office is not great. When I called, a rather rude and clearly unhappy lady answered the phone. I immediately told her I had two requests and proceeded to explain them. She cut me off me blankly and told me to give her my birthday, which I did. Afterwards, she kept asking me to elaborate and repeat myself on every statement I made. I do have a small accent so I'm not sure if that had something to do with it - I saw another review, similar to mine, speaking about the same issue they had, where they were made to feel 'foreign'. She spoke in a very condescending manner and made me feel stupid, at one point I nearly hung up on her because of her attitude. After a bit of back and forth I was finally able to get my first problem taken care of - but then she hung up on ME, without asking if my problem was resolved or anything. I tried to say I still needed help but she hung up. Very rude, and through reading other reviews, I can see this happened before which is not great.
There was a second lady who answered my call afterwards, and she was very helpful and patient. I would love to reach out to an office and have the first impression be what she had given to me, rather than what I was met with. It's a little ridiculous that I had to call back because the first woman had no patience at her job.

Just had a baby and am having some postpartum issues. I’m trying to get back on my old medication that I think would help me mentally but told receptionist my concern to bring my 4 week old into a doctors office with a bunch of sick patients. Refused to schedule any form of telehealth or anything just because I’m overdue for a physical? Like I just gave birth 4 weeks ago give me a break on the physical. Finding a new PCP. It’s a shame bc the doctors are great but I always have issues with the desk I’m sure Dr Frank would’ve helped me if I could’ve talked to him. I have no one to watch my baby no help at all right now and I just needed a telehealth appointment to talk about my medication.

Just started going back to this practice. I saw a new nurse practictioner earlier this year and she was knowledgeable and helpful with a great attitude. Went back because I was sick for almost 2 weeks. I waited forever to finally be seen by the impudent older nurse practitioner who spent most of the time talking and barely looked me over and told me to try every over the counter medication I already tried without success. She was the reason I stopped going there years ago. The rest of the staff is great.

Everybody was really nice. They seem to really care about their patients. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆s. I definitely recommend this place to everyone searching for a good team of Dr's Nurse Practitioners etc... I went in for an ear cleaning I could barely hear out of my right 👂. They cleaned both of my ears now my hearing is 100%

This office is outstanding. I had to change PCPs this year and at 68 years old I was a little nervous. From the greet through the visit with the Dr till I leave, I’ve yet to have anything but a great experience. The phone follow up is perfect and my visit with either Dr is comfortable, thorough and never rushed. I don’t understand some of the bad reviews but relationships need both parties to be patient and understanding.

I have been a patient here for many years. Dr. Frank Civitarese saw me one day for a problem I was having with the muscles in my leg. He was on the phone with a specialist immediately, and I was seen the next day by the specialist. Long story short, it led to three major surgeries for tethered spinal cord in several areas of my spine. He and Dr. Louis Civitarese are wonderful. They care about their patients. I go to see them because I trust them.

purposely scheduled a late afternoon appointment with their receptionist to avoid the waiting room rush.. showed up 10+ mins prior to my wellness visit appointment time, got called back to a private room after only a few minutes, only to sit on the exam table and wait an hour and 15 mins before I finally decided to just walk straight out of the place - a absolute complete waste of an afternoon for me. if you value your time and want a doctor and practice to be respectful of it, you may not want to use their services here. **** many negative reviews posted here, so beware.

The last time I was in the office was for a wellness visit in mid January and I saw Nurse Caitlin who is wonderful. She wanted a second opinion on my ear and called in Dr. Frank. He stepped in the room and was ready to touch my head when I asked if he could please use hand sanitizer or wash his hands first since he had to touch the door to enter the room. He had the audacity to call me a GERMOPHOBE even though it was cold/flu season and several people in the waiting room were wearing masks (pre-COVID)! He quibbled again before getting a squirt of hand sanitizer. He is not the first doctor/provider at this practice that I've had to ask to clean their hands which is appalling.
