5+ Stars for Dr.Duong and his staff. I had a deep cavity that other dentists weren't completely comfortable treating (probably somewhat due to my fear of potentially needing at Dentist).

With that said, its been about a a months since the cavity was replaced, and it's feeling AMAZING with no issues. Dr.Duong even reinforced the walls of the tooth/cavity for extra support.

Dr.Duong is specialized in the area of dental implant, bone expansion, restorations,oral surgery, and surgical microscope. He took his time and didn't rush the numbing process, which made it a pleasant experience. In fact, he doesn't rush any part of the procedure, which I appreciate fully.

The staff was a wonderful and I brought them a pizza for lunch. If you're looking for a new or better dentist, try Coastal Dental Group. 110% Highly Recommended - Jim

WOW WOW WOW WOW!! Now, I didn't want to write a review, because I wanted to see how my teeth and the entire experience would turn out, but I'm COMPLETELY amazed by his work!! 😀 SO HAPPY I came across him on yelp-- so happy 🙂 I never wanted to smile and was ALWAYS in tooth pain!! Well, I guess that's what happens when I don't see a dentist in YEARS! But this amazing doctor not only straightened my super embarrassing crooked teeth, but he also took care of the overall health of my teeth!! I was VERY relieved, because my tooth health was REALLY bad!
SOOOOOOOOO GLAD he was able to see me right away 😀 I gave him a call, and he set my appointment the following week-- like wow wow! 🙂 and let me tell you, he was very friendly-- just so easy to speak to 🙂 it made me feel really good and confident about my appointment 😀
Dr. Derek told me I had 3 cavities, MAJOR swollen gums, and of course the SUPER obvious -- my embarrassing crooked teeth! Oh, and not ever having my teeth cleaned professionally for YEEEEEEEARS was really bad too!! Yeah-- it wasn't good!! But I felt REALLY good in Dr. Derek's hands and spent a year under his AMAZING care!! And I'm soooooooo HAPPY I did -- because now, my teeth are beauuuuuuutiful!! 😀 I want to smile all day and ALL NIGHT!! I probably smile when I'm sleeping!!
Because now, guess what 🙂 I have NO CAVITIES 😀 , my gums are SUPER HEALTHY looking and they don't bleed anymore 😀 No more bloody gums for meeeeeee 😀 YAY! My teeth are AMAZINGLY straight!! I keep looking at my teeth, because I can't believe how STRAIGHT they look!! I actually don't fear going to see the dentist anymore, especially now that it's Dr. Derek. I'm maintaining my beautiful teeth now, by going to regular cleanings 2x a year.
Right away, I felt super confident under his care, because you can just tell he's INCREDIBLY smart, and super knowledgeable when it comes to everything dental 🙂 You can really tell he cares about building a trusting relationship with you, and he will patiently guide you to make sure your teeth look PHENOMENAL.
I'm in love with my teeth! 😀 I feel confident to do a tooth commercial! Haha 😀 So, I'm always flossing my teeth now and brushing them 2-3x a day, because I want my teeth to stay like this forever!! 🙂
The entire staff is SOOOOOOO professional and welcoming -- they just make you smile right away! The office also has the technology state of the art equipment 😀 I can't express enough how Dr. Derek has made me a VERY VEEEEEEEERY HAPPY GIRL 🙂 Dr. Derek EXUDES passion for making the most beautiful smiles ever!! I highly HIGHLY recommend Dr. Derek if you want a smile that everyone compliments you on, because I have received soooooooo many compliments about my teeth!! It's incredible how my life has changed and improved with Dr. Derek! I couldn't be more grateful.
