Hi I am writing a review on the behalf of Miss Helen Barton in 139B.

You called me Miss Helen I was in room 139B for 2 months.i don't have all your names but I think from what I write you will know I am referring to you!!

I will begin with the 2 Teresa's one who's kind voice would awaken me at 4:00am to ask if I needed anything.she can lift 150 lb weights! She showed me the photo.

The other Teresa is tiny and sweet.she checked on me everyday.i will remember her always.She took her 2 granddaughters to Musical productions in Sacramento.

Claudia and Teresa were my partners
Claudia was so special,she made me repractice moves that would be safer when I went home,I use them now. I did a special call out to the administrator for this.

Then there was my special Hawaiian friend.we had our own special pizza favorites.she was adorable.

Evelyn lit up the room with her beautiful smile and always re-checked to see that I had what I needed.

Then there was Adeelio his parents raised him to be so respectful to others.he was so polite and discreet when he gave this old lady a bath.

Another favorite was my young grandmother of a 2 year old.we talked fashion and clothing colors! She came about dawn
Remember the clothing universal colors,turquoise,lavender,sky blue etc

The two sisters from Ethiopia were awesome. Ysie has the greatest sense of humor I've been around in a long time.

And Willy,who watched out for me,closing and opening the windows and bringing me small glasses of ice.that teacher Callahan was blind!

The elegant CNA who wheeled me to the car when I went home will never be forgotten.she has sprinkles of silver dust in her brown hair and would come in from the hallway to turn off my light.

There were so many physicians assistants-the white haired gentlemen who put Peter rabbit in the wrong garden I'm never sure if you are prior physician so forgive me if I was I was a little wrong.

Another one,who wears a brown-checkered shirt he described how bruises can feel like brakes.He was very reassuring,and the spendid,delicate lady who figured out how to keep my brace from binding on my leg ,thank you!

All the nurses who did there duties and never minded putting my tv where I could see it. Anabel who who gave me snacks for the night,and Mrs chin who came In quietly to see what time I would like my last medicine.There were others-the nurse with the frosted hair who was always so cheerful I could hear her laughter alot .

And the male nurse who name was DJ think he was always so calm and gentle all the therapist who just wouldn't let me lie there,you were great. Awesome how a reacher can so comforting!

Like most skilled nursing care facilities owned by corporations, I imagine (and know in some cases) that the staff here are overstretched and underpaid. Yet after recently spending 5 unexpected weeks at the Cottonwood Post-Acute Rehab, I found all of the direct-hire CNAs, nurses, physical and occupational therapists, activities personnel, social workers, and kitchen staff to be bone-deep compassionate, competent, and downright exquisite human beings. Which matters when one is completely dependent on others for the basics of daily functioning. Was everything perfect? What is? Especially when it comes to the sometimes brutal work of caregiving. Yet by the time I left, I knew I had witnessed the workings of a group of determined, caring, and noble people. And I will forever be grateful for and adoring of them all.

I am very grateful to everyone at Woodland Post Acute who cared for my mom, who showed compassion to my dad as he struggled with my mom's dementia, and who answered my myriad questions. Olivia provided helpful information and resources throughout, ensured we were able to get a wheelchair upon discharge, and called to check in after discharge too. In addition to providing therapy to my mom, Megan provided helpful information about dementia, and facilitated a virtual call when I couldn't be there in person. Loleth (PT) and Gervie (OT) helped my mom get strong enough to travel, and made sure we understood how to keep her safe. Truly appreciate all of the staff at WPA!

I appreciate everything that they have done for my husband. And everything they do on a regular basis for us!! The staff are friendly and the facility is very clean.

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a smile. This facility is filled with a caring environment where resident care is their number one priority and it shows in all aspects. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend this facility, you won't be disappointed.

Anybody that gives this place any kind of good review is gonna family or friends of it. I'm currently in the facility finding cockroaches in my room, the meds they give me don't even relate to my pain. You ask for help help and they ignore you. I sat yesterday in my own feces for hours and that wasn't the first time. ANY good reviews will unfortunately come from family. I wouldn't put my own worst enemy in here.

A friend of mine spent several months at Cottonwood Post-Acute Rehab to help her recover from a stroke.I was so impressed with the care she received, the staff was always friendly, competent, considerate and helpful. Thank you for all your efforts in helping my friend recover and the support to her family.

This place is horrible. They almost killed my mother-in-law by waiting over two hours to get her back to the hospital. They don't check on their patients. When you try to call the facility no one answers the phone and on the rare occasion they do answer they just hang up on you. They constantly change their visitation guidelines making it difficult for anyone to visit their loved ones. I wouldn't let them take care of my cat let alone a family member.
