Best Pharmacy staff of all time. Kind, and will bend over backwards to make sure that you have what you need. Hometown people and Hometown atmosphere. Not like the commercial pharmacy's that don't care about you. They take on a more personal approach like it should be. I am in love with my pharmacy.

In the last year and a half the pharmacy has gone down hill. Prescriptions never get filled within a reasonable time frame. Drs have to call multiple times to have them fill the right medications. Such a bummer because we are all about supporting local businesses. We are not forced to find another pharmacy so that we can get our medicines on time.

My wife and I are very happy with Cottonwood Drug, we live in Redding, but the Redding pharmacies will not accommodate us like Cottonwood Drug does. They stock the medicine we need and always have enough to fill our prescriptions.

cottonwood drugs is a good pharmacy and even though they are part of a corporation they give you that hometown feeling. they have some exceptional employees like Fritz mon and Melissa they make you feel welcome. I see some complaints on here but I've not experienced them myself I have had disagreements with the staff but that's just because I have an attitude. they do deliver but each area only has one day a week so if your day is Monday and you get a prescription on Tuesday your SOL until next Monday or you go get it. I can deal with that I do like the fact that they'll work with you and your insurance try to find a solution and the pharmacist himself will answer all your questions. The longest I've ever been online there was 20 minutes and that's because there was about 15 people in line. it's generally pretty quick it's a small town pharmacy inside the holiday market in cottonwood California. I live in cottonwood it's convenient for me and when I walk in they know my name. and no they don't call me Norm lol The only reason I give it four stars they're not five is it today's age I don't think anything is five star quality.

I just tried to pick up some prescriptions at 5:44 on Friday 4/14 and the place was locked up with the doors on the windows down. I happened to meet an employee leaving and said I thought the pharmacy was open until 6 today, and she just said oh…

I’m not sure why they closed early but for those of us that work it can be difficult enough to make it even by 6. I’ll hopefully be able to get my meds tomorrow, and fortunately my child has a few extras of her medication, but this is enough that I will likely be switching my prescriptions to a pharmacy that is open longer hours. I haven’t had any significant problems here prior to this and have always been treated very well by the staff, but with so many options available I don’t have much reason to keep coming. So I’m rating 3 stars for my average experience- 5 for staff friendliness, but 1 for convenience and not being open their posted hours.

Cottonwood Drugs will ALWAYS be my home for all of my medication needs. They care deeply about their patients. They were even willing to lose money to make sure my 9 year old had his proper medication. Too many big box stores get business they shouldn't. Their pharmacies and their staff leave you with a bad taste in your mouth. They are rude and it is clear you are just a dollar sign to them. If you ask me, not enough pharmacies have the same small town, personal approach to how they treat their patients. It is obvious they know a secret to customer service that most other pharmacies don't know or have forgotten. Thank you to all the staff. You truly have my gratitude. I appreciate you more than you will ever know.

I can scan them the front and back of my insurance card to make it easier since the hours on their website are incorrect and they close at 5 PM and not 6 PM as I get off work at 5 PM and work 20 minutes away. I left work early to ensure i could get there in time. I made sure to send over everything needed and even called to confirm that they had received it so it would be ready by the time I got there which was 15 minutes before they closed. when I went to pick up my prescription they then told me that I was not in their system and my prescription was not ready to be filled so I had to come back tomorrow after explaining to them that I already spoken to somebody and confirmed that they had my new info on file and filled my prescription. I told them I work full-time and cannot come back in the morning if it was possible to complete this by today. they seemed super frustrated because it was five minutes after 5 PM but as a pharmacy technician it is your job duty to get people their prescriptions when promised. One of the ladies was very understanding and made sure to get it filled for me. as I was waiting a younger lady came up and said she knew that they were closed but her father's insulin had run out and he could die without it all she wanted to do was check and make sure that her daughter had grabbed it earlier and they refused service to her because they were "closed". Not very sympathetic as a pharmacy tech I would say. finally after waiting my prescription was ready they decide to ring me up for $89 when my prescription has never been more than 25 bucks and when I tried to explain to her that it should not be that expensive she just gave me more attitude and rolled her eyes. she rescan my prescription and it totaled to $25 even....as it should be. and I just got more attitude when I told them thank you I appreciate it. Definitely will not be returning and will not refer anyone there again. The one lady was sweet and understanding but as for the others working, it seemed like they just wanted to go home. I cannot count how many times i have had to stay late at work for people, but you don't see me being rude to them. It's called customer service and doing YOUR job.

Everyone at Cottonwood drugs are always so helpful and kind. They go the extra mile in any way they can to help. Absolutely love this pharmacy. I will never go anywhere else ever. Melissa, Fritzie , Charlie, Amanda and Greg are all such great humans and they are prime examples of great customer service and human kindness. Thank you all for the great job you do!
