My family and I switched to Coronado Family Dentistry after several years at another local dentistry that just doesn’t seem to care about their business anymore. Our entire experience has been exceptional! Dr Dao is very professional, knowledgeable, and his people skills are fantastic. He takes the time to educate you, and his procedures are done with great detail and never rushed. He takes care to know each patient, sending follow up messages to ensure your doing ok, and has great memory and care for your family members.

We had work done with Dr Dao and it was done better than any other dentist I have personally used. The staff are not only extremely nice and caring, but very experienced. I can only assume Dr Dao treats his staff well to attain such great talent, unlike most offices that cut corners and pay below industry rates for less qualified or new employees.

We also had the privilege of working with Dr. Sherry Oung, Dr Dao’s wife. She helped with 2 deep cavities for our 8 year old daughter. They even schedule and brought in their dog Buttercup to calm our daughter down. Buttercup is such a lovely dog and it really helped!! Dr. Oung was so gentle and effective. My daughter never complained of pain or discomfort during or after the procedure.

I could go on and about this dentistry. I’m just thrilled we finally found such a great dentist in the area that isn’t trying to find ways ti make extra ones off your with extra procedures you don’t need. The reviews speak for themselves.

A friend recommended I visit Dr Dao after I had bad experiences with my previous dentist, and I'm so glad I switched.

It's a nice office run by a friendly and professional team.

What really sets Dr Dao apart is his approach to dentistry and his ability to communicate what he's doing so I can understand it. Most dentists want to get in and do as much work as possible. Dr Dao's approach is to be as noninvasive as possible. My previous dentist wanted to do crowns on a couple of my teeth that had old fillings. Dr Dao repaired the fillings instead, saving as much of my natural tooth as possible AND saving me as much money as possible.

I can't say enough good about my experience with Dr Dao.

Dr Stephen Dao is one of the most compassionate and caring people I have ever met. You can tell from the moment he walks in the room that he cares for you and cares about what he does. Lots of anxiety before appointments disappeared because I knew immediately that I was in good hands. Dr Stephen works hard to be approachable and makes coming to his office like a visit with old friends. He always has great staff who care like he does, and they all go the extra mile for anyone. The office is amazing and they have all the latest tech to make the visits easy and painless. Now we all look forward to our checkups instead of dreading them!

This practice will not be after your wallet, and he treats your mouth and body holistically and with a conservative approach. Love this dental practice. Dr. Dao is very knowledgeable in dentistry and he thoroughly explained all the questions I had. He took photos of my teeth with a camera that fits easily in my mouth and explained all the different ridges and cracks I had in my teeth. His energy is so calming and it really helped me with my dental anxiety. This is a wonderful place to get your dental work done!

I had a great experience taking my daughter to see Dr. Stephen Dao. My daughter had several cavities that we had to get taken care of. He did a great job. He explained everything he was going to do, to my daughter. He made her feel very calm and at ease. A lot of the time children get very nervous and squirmish when they are getting their teeth worked on, but my daughter was able to sit calmly and quietly. He took his time and made sure to get all the cavity removed. My Father also had gone in to get some cosmetic work done to his teeth and he was very happy with the work. I would definitely recommend coming into Coronado Family Dental. They provide great quality work.

We LOVE Dr. Dao! He is so thorough, patient, honest, and genuinely cares about his patients. We’ve gone to 5 different dental practices in search for someone very trustworthy and highly skilled and we’re so thankful to have Dr. Dao. Our entire family has seen him so we can wholeheartedly say that our kids feel safe and comfortable with him and the staff. My previous dentist had to redo my filling twice and I still had pain. Dr. Dao was the one who finally fixed everything and I’ve been pain-free since.
