This place is horrible I have gone in twice with my daughter and both times got treated in the waiting room area never taken back and was released. I ended up taking my daughter to choc in orange and was amazed with the treatment we got. Corona regional is absolute crap with nurses and doctors that are useless and that’s so sad and scary. Both times got a wrong diagnosis. These people do not listen to you what so ever it’s so frustrating.

Very unprofessional nurses. My husband went in with severe pain. This nurse- Deborah V. takes us into a separate small room to take some bloodwork and get an IV going. She begins to have conversations with her other coworkers and talking about how she’s been talking Spanish to this cleaning person and calling him the wrong name. Again- how does this help my husband. And then she calls over her coworker (LVN guy) right before she draws my husbands blood and tells him to go in the back room because she brought some drinks and he can have one. Again- my husband is in pain and you are so unprofessional having these conversations in front of us!! How does this help my husband. My husband and I both work at hospitals in Orange County and we would never do this in front of patients. They need to have some compassion for those in pain. So so unprofessional. Crap ER.

Doesn’t even deserve a star. We waited 6 hours expecting my son to get a brace. No instead, we got a bandage and waited another 30 minutes for the release form. They forget about their patients so easily.

I brought my 7 month old baby I to the ER because she reached a temperature over 104 and was convulsing. They told is to wait to be checked in as her temperature continued to rise. She was vomiting all over the waiting lobby. I begged the staff for ice packs to help cool her down and they Ignored us. Didnt once look us In the eyes through that plexiglass. It took 45 minutes for us to be checked in then we waited in the lobby for another hour before they pulled us to the back. The only reason they did is because my infant was vomiting on the floor and furniture uncontrollably. Once back there they pulled us into a very small barely able to stand room. And forgot about us for another hour. My infant screamed nonstop and continued to vomit before they brought zofran and what they said was motrin. I asked the nurse what was in the syringes and she told me Motrin and Zofran. They gave her too high of a dose and at the same time together, which they admitted later that it was mistake. This medical error worsened her vomiting. There was also confusion if they even gave her Motrin or Tylenol. When asked the nurse I got told “I don’t know they just gave me a syringe.” I asked the PA if they were going to do anything else which she responded “What do you want me to do?” Shes the doctor I shouldn't have to tell her to examine my infant, check vitals, run standard tests, check for covid, RSV and common cold testing, to check her urine and even look at her ears to see if she had an ear infection. They left us there waiting for nothing. I told them I wanted to be discharged because they weren’t helping and my infant wouldn’t stop screaming she still had a fever and was still vomiting. They told me it was illegal for me to leave until the doctor came and cleared us. As you can imagine that took a while. I had told the doctor and the staff my daughter is allergic to amoxicillin and in the end she proscribed us amoxicillin. Thank god I noticed the error or else I would have been stuck with no antibiotics to give her on a holiday weekend or even worse I would have had another emergency room visit.

Please, if you love your child never bring them here. My child suffered at the hands of those staff. All for nothing.

Don't know what happened to this facility used to be a good ER facility, now it takes forever to get out, no kidding but over 8 hours with 8 patients in the waiting room.
Hope they regain the service they used to have.

Better than expected! It's never fun to go to the emergency room. I was sent there from an urgent care. It was a weekday afternoon, so not quite as crowded as I'm sure it can get. They took me in as soon as possible, and performed several tests. The doctor was very friendly and upbeat. She gave thorough and understandable instructions. I have no complaints about anyone working at the ER that day. My only complaint is that there weren't quite enough chairs for everyone by the time I left early in the evening.

My experience the last two times I’ve been to Corona is hours of being left doubled over in pain and doctors who refuse to listen and assume you’re a drug seeker. It’s absolutely frustrating beyond belief that I was at the ER for 3 1/2 hours before I was given ANY medicine ( no pain meds tho) and the doctor (Dr Park) was not interested in what I had to say and what’s worked for me in the past. The nurses were great this time although in the past I’ve had terrible experience with them too. Most seem to really not like their job or the patients, they sit at the nurses station and trash talk all the patients. Extremely unprofessional.
