If i can review with no stars i would, my great grandfather was in this hospital around 3 years ago and i just built the courage after all this time of hearing how devastated my grand father felt about this hospital my great grandfather was sick and helpless they let him starve, 2 patients in one room sharing 1 bathroom spreading infections etc. designated meals and designated showers were a mess, old tvs, faded food trays, mold around ice stations and refills no fresh ice and fresh cupsโ€ฆ most of the time they had to be transported around the building to take a shower WHEN you asked he would yell that he is starving most of the time we would go visit. my grandfather had to provide his own medicine and my great grandfather left with ammonia with was unknown by staff at discharge! As an aid myself this place should be shut down immediately changing the name isnโ€™t going to make it any better. Man i hate this place with all due respect.

Let's start with a positive, the receptionists when you enter the facility are wonderful, if you need something taken care of for your loved one, they are the ones to speak with. Keep in mind, that's not really their job, but they care. That's it for the positives. Don't bother filling out a menu, the Dietary folks will deliver whatever they want to your loved one. If you want your loved one to keep all of their clothing, it's best if you wash it yourself. Even though every article of clothing is identified with a name, your loved one will lose possession of most of their clothing if you allow the facility to launder it. You must follow up with the staff repeatedly to ensure your loved one receives a shower on their designated evenings. My loved one is not one to complain, but she does repeatedly express despair about how rough and hasty the staff are with her when getting her dressed, transitioning in and out of bed and changing her. She has the bruises to prove it. This place is always understaffed and the turnover of the staff that they do have is high. Most of the staff are pleasant to speak with and I don't envy the jobs they have, but if your loved one is at this facility, you need to be their advocate on a daily basis.

They ooze kindness and warmth. My mom is not admitted here, but when I called to find out about her placement, the admission expert was so kind and courteous, so much so that I became emotional. It's beyond challenging to send your loved ones into the care of strangers. But I found compassion in the phone call with the team at this facility, and it deserves a public thank you.
