I was nearby and called the lab at 11:30am to make sure they take walk-ins, the woman on the phone says she’s going to lunch in 5 mins and to come back at 1pm. I asked if I can eat beforehand or should I remain fasting, she told me it doesn’t matter I can eat so I did. I show up at 1pm, see a sign that says lab closed for lunch between 12-1pm, and then the lab tech tells me I needed to fast for at least 12 hours and acted like it was not her. Pretty sure it was the same person I spoke with on the phone, but not surprised either way. This health system is a joke, and no one seems to take their jobs seriously. Fortunately my family doctor is the best around which is the only reason I bother with Commonwealth Health.

My cousin had to have bloodwork done which she always waited the last minutes to go for her bloodwork! She always say she doesn't have time, she has time to go other places!
