As a new patient scheduling an annual check-up, I was scheduled for an appointment with Dr. Molitorus a month away from calling in. A week after scheduling, I was called and made aware I could be moved to an earlier appointment (a day before my original appointment). I agreed to it, however three days before my newly scheduled appointment, I was called again to be alerted my appointment was canceled. After explaining to them my original appointment time, they placed me on hold and never came back. After getting back in contact with them, I was told my new appointment will be in another three weeks. In total, it will take 7 weeks for me to be seen for an annual check-up here. I guess I'm an inconvenience to them.

UPDATE: My appointment was canceled again and moved to March 20. In total it will take 100 days to be seen for an annual checkup.

I am having similar problems as other people in the review section. Do not trust the reviews you find on Cedars-Sinai's website. Dr. John Molitoris and his team are not there when you need them. This office is useless. No point in having a Primary Provider who can't refill prescriptions in a timely manner or sign off on lab tests/draws. Not sure if it's because Dr. Molitoris has overload of patients or he is just negligent... Coming from a RN myself, this is a delay in care and it is unacceptable. Some people can NOT afford to have these types of delays. I have already filed a complaint to Cedars regarding this.

On numerous occasions I have had problems with this office. If you call, just expect waiting on phone for a long time until someone answers. Today, Cedars had to cancel my Quantiferon-TB blood lab test/draw which I scheduled over a week ago because Dr. Molitoris never signed off on it. The marina del ray location/office where I was scheduled for lab draw- they called his office, and so did I, with no response! When I called they stated "he hasn't gotten to it yet".... while this is an inconvenience for me, I hope someone who has more serious conditions would not get swiped under the rug like I have. Something like this takes two seconds to sign off on- no excuse for this delay. So now I have to inconveniently reschedule this test for another time, or better yet, take my business elsewhere.
Another situation a while back, I requested a refill for birth control which was like pulling teeth- refill requests through CS-link was denied, then when I tried calling office, they said I would need to make an appointment. Appointment for what?! So they can charge me for an unnecessary visit?! I had to go through CSlink and to send a message saying that there is no reason for me to make an appointment, justifying that I need my birth control prescription. Dr. Molitoris refilled it finally, but its problems like these that are an inconvenience and it's frustrating!

I shouldn't be having to harass a Dr. for basic things! I am not asking for much here! Anyway, will be finding a new provider.

The doctor, Dr. Benitez constantly out of the office, when you would like to speak to the doctor, she is VERY quick to defer you to only email her through the Cedar portal. When you do, she's not the person who gets back to you until you make some 'noise'.

Whenever I did see her, it was ALWAYS a pressure of "lets make sure to get that next visit scheduled' but each visit was NO solution.

I wanted a doctor who is actually engaged with their patients not someone who just "follows the typical doctor visit."

She made a promise to me to not be charged for a specific visit, I still was and had to tell them to remove the charge.

Last straw was I had a yearly physical appointment scheduled yesterday...and when I arrived..."I'm sorry she moved offices." and I got NO CALL, NO WARNING. So I got to see no doctor after already waiting months for a yearly physical that was supposed to happen in March...it's August now.

Dr.Benitez is amazing I'm so glad I found her! She listens to every detail gives great advice always finds solutions/cures to any of my issues and if I need to see a specialist she makes sure that I will be taken care of asap She calls or messages me with any of test results which is great and convenient I honestly never felt comfortable with any dr but her. Thank you so much Dr.B and to your great assistants that work hard!

Over priced care for low quality service.

Historically, I pay $60 per urgent care visit. This visit was $262.65 after insurance for a 10 minute visit with a nurse practitioner where I left the office with the same amount of information that I had when I went in.

I came in the urgent care with a swollen hand. I met with the nurse practitioner for 10 minutes, she didn't listen to any of my concerns and told me to come bak if it occurred again.

All the staff and providers I have encountered are so down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and professional. Always a great experience.
