Our family had to move our Aunt Patricia to a nursing home, and we had heard that Cedarbrook had an excellent reputation. Starting with Natalia at Cedarbrook Fountain Hill, who was warm and kind and gave us a tour, and then Greta who is the admissions lady for all of Cedarbrook who is just about the nicest, most gentle person you could talk to, and then of course Ashley our case worker who called me as I was bringing Aunt Trish out that morning to make sure I was ok and had no questions, I don't believe I could have felt better about how the day went!! I had many fears that morning when we moved her in, but the fears were quickly replaced with peace because I knew she was in good hands. Other people at Cedarbrook Fountain Hill I have not mentioned include the kind security guard who let us in, the friendly receptionist who helped me with where to go for lunch, Brenda and Viviana the finance ladies, and a huge thing was the nursing staff who showed me my Aunt Patricia's accurate medication list within 10 minutes of us being in her room(Charlene, Grethae, Lisa the recreation lady)! Talk about comfort! They were all over my Aunt's medication list and were extremely prepared! I am a Christian man, and believe me when I say I thanked the Good Lord for how well the day went. I am thankful for these people and my Aunt is in good hands at Cedarbrook Fountain Hill.

my mom was transferred here two almost three years ago directly from the hospital. She's been here ever since. In the beginning it was rough because she had to adjust to permanently being removed from her home in Allentown. She was moved to the third floor and had a terrible roommate who she didn't get along with. She demanded another room and has been with this roommate Carmen ever since. My mother looked out for her basically and knows her needs even though Carmen doesn't speak. I have never seen any mistreatment. If anything, you will see patients sitting in the hall, dressed and fed. Yes there are some that probably don't get out of bed due to their health but that is not the staffs' fault. There are activities which the staff encourages to those who choode to participate.

My mother, Dorothy, had an amazing experience in Cedarbrook. The cleanliness was amazing. Floors washed up everyday. She had amazing workers. They treated her like they're Grandma! God bless them all. My sister and I totally loved Cedarbrook. Mom's happy and thankful!

I am writing to express my thanks to staff at Cedarbrook Nursing Home in Bethlehem, PA. My mother recently passed away at age 100. She was not in very good health when she permanently entered Cedarbrook a little over a year ago, after having been in a different nursing home. We had been considering hospice for Mother, but during her year plus at Cedarbrook her health condition continued to improve, until chronic health issues beyond treatment took their toll. Staff, including auxiliary staff, were friendly, responsive and competent. Dr. Kuehner was very caring and took the time to speak individually with the family, even in evening hours. No nursing home is perfect, but I truly believe Cedarbrook was a great option for my mother's care.

Hello, three weeks ago my mother had a fall and suffered a pelvic fracture that required. We chose Cedar brook nursing home in fountain hill and it was the best choice we ever made. She had the best care given to her, very professional, caring and friendly staff. The residents also were amazing. We highly recommend this facility to anyone in need of rehab. We will definitely go back to visit. I want to thank very much the entire staff at Cedar brook for an Amazing care. From Carmen Diaz and the family!

Fraud. My mother was drugged the evening she arrived. They’ll keep you in this SNF under any circumstances. They just want your money.

My patient were there for 2 weeks and she came back with really, really bad bruises on her chest, her arms, ribs and hips.
They definitely do not give them the best care at all. Also lack of personal care, she could pee 3 time on herself before they change her or take her to the bathroom, some of them even push the patients. We are very disappointed of this place. Please do your research, not everything is what it looks like.
I am a care giver and it's sad and frustrating having places like this
where elderly go to feel and be "safe" and things like this are happening.

Horrible experience and very unprofessional nurses and staff. Their workers (confidentially) warned us that if we want to see proper care given, we have to visit my grandfather frequently. I am thankful for their advice and unfortunately could not be there 24/7. Do your research prior to placing your loved one in a nursing home. My grandfather passed away in a short time after coming here. I agree with the other reviews here. They will smile and assure you they will do their best... but if you are forced to take your loved one here, please visit them daily and attend their care conferences. You are the voice for your loved one and let them know that you demand proper care. Don't fall for the "Nurses know best" bs because they don't. It is a business in the end and you need to step it up for the battle ahead. I wish I could give 0 stars!
