“Shady Pines” sounds better. Nurses in halls were great but not when you call the office lines. CNAs were great Therapists were kind and caring. Food and communication was AWFUL!! Don’t send Wiley Coyote there unless for punishment. First thing they do straight from hospital is put a diaper on you. Was able to use a bedside commode. But first room had 3 people in it and two of the TVs went full blast 24 hours a day! Finally when I said I was going to home or anywhere they found a two person room. Nice lady but door couldn’t be shut at night because of her monitors and anxiety. So two days later after saying I was going they “found “ a private room. At least I could sleep but food was still not good so family brought me stuff. When I said I was really going to home care no one could be found to check me out. Son in law called and threatened State Health department they could finally get my sign out papers ready so he could take me to his house where he or my daughter fixed meals that I would eat.

I want to give the biggest shout out to William from therapy because he is my super hero! He overachiever and goes above and beyond! Nicole the CNA is also amazing; she always had my drawers stocked and attended to my needs!!! I came back in 2020 and I had a great experience and that's why I continued to come back. I will miss all the nurses and staff here. The only thing I could say is they need more staffing.

My wife was discharged today from your center.
I wanted to Give kudos to three Three of your nurses that cared for her; Carrol,, Leslie (her trainee) and Jasper provided My wife With excellent care. The Cna’s and helpers treated her with kindness, respect, and were very helpful in her needs. Thank you Catalina for having such caring staff and hiring Carrol, Leslie and Jasper. My wife couldn’t remember all the names of those Cna’s and helpers and she apologizes for that. This has been a roller-coaster for us but her rehab there was done with kindness and respect.

My mom is diabetic. They keep skipping her for meals, since she arrived. They'll bring her an alternative eventually. And when she tells them I can't have this I'm diabetic they tell her "that's not documented" like 5 times already. So, document it!
When she couldn't get up on her own they left her bed so long waiting that she peed herself and then left her in the pee for hours. No diaper not changing her sheets or anything. She's using her call button and they ignore her.
I have called the facility and never hear from anyone.
Last night tho they took my mom's sheets and blanket to wash during the day and did not give her new ones. So at 9 pm she called and asked for her sheets and a nurse with an attitude told her idk anything about your sheets or blankets I can get you one or the other. She picked a blanket and slept on dirty mattress with no sheet.
Think hard before bringing your loves ones here.

And if they give me a generic reply about contacting them. IVE TRIED. YOU DONT RESPOND TO EMAIL OR PHONE CALLS

They did a wonderful rehab for my husband! He went in in a wheelchair and was walking 150 feet, with a walker, in less than two weeks. We especially want to thank and acknowledge Ashley the receptionist, Hiten in Therapy, Tayati the most amazing nurse, and Trini the nurse supervisor. My husband is home now and is enjoying life again. Thank you Catalina and most of the staff! Would have been a 5 star review if he had been happier with the food!

This facility is dirty and unfit to be a facility for rehabilitation for elderly. They are abusive and neglectful to their patients. The rooms are small, dirty, and not equipped for a patient. My family member sat solid for two hours to be changed several times. While I was there a patient was going to walk into the nurses area to get a pitcher of water the two ladies stopped him and asked rudely what he was doing he replied I asked for water a long time ago so I decided to get it myself. The workers are very unprofessional. The administration can’t do there job either. Don’t! , Put your love one in this Facility.

Catalina Care SNF exceptional skilled nursing facility I highly recommend it to anyone who has a skilled need and needs to send their love one, friend or family to a care center. Their social service department is phenomenal Bri and Shelly really care about their patients and their needs. I highly recommend Catalina care.

Superior! Nurses were really friendly and helpful. Connie and others did an excellent job in the dining room. The food was great. Really good CNAs and RAs. Physical therapy was helpful.
