Both my husband and I have seen Jonathan Holz at Capitola Physical Therapy following orthopedic surgeries and/or chronic pain. His genuine interest in each patient's well being is real and his knowledge helped us both regain complete range of motion following shoulder surgeries. I was referred to Jonathan Holtz at Capitola Physical Therapy in 2013 after a dislocation and fracture of my left shoulder left me with a badly wrecked shoulder and a useless arm. During our first meeting he explained the benchmark goals for the upcoming months of rehabilitation - this gave me understanding and was reassuring. With his years of experience, learned knowledge, intuition, and humor, Jonathan successfully guided my recovery from that injury.

In 2015, Jonathan was also helpful in stabilizing my comfort level for an ongoing arthritis-driven lumbar spine problem. I continue to be grateful for Jonathan and the friendly, professional staff at Capitola Physical Therapy.

I was referred to Capitola Physical Therapy by my doctor after an old sports injury/car accident injury started flaring up and causing me excruciating pain, to the point of waking me up out of a dead sleep. Erica was my therapist and she was wonderful! Every exercise I was given was easy to do and really targeted the weak areas in my shoulder. These strengthening and stretching exercises have eliminated the pain I was experiencing and I am back on the road to being 100%.

Absolutely wonderful staff! Erica worked with me after a badly herniated lumbar disk. She is very knowledgeable and patient, and knows exactly how to tweak an exercise to reduce pain but increase strength and mobility. I highly recommend both her and the entire staff!

The administration was horrible. "You owe us money your insurance doesn't cover it" Then it was, "No your insurance company covered your visit" Then it was back to the original statement. Back and forth several more times..it became a pain.

Poor administrative staff, was rescheduled multiple weeks in a row with no notice. Lost records. Go elsewhere.
