Great experience here so far!

I was seeking a second opinion after a different dentist told me I needed 4 crowns. Dr. Ortega explained that my teeth still have good structure and should therefore be preserved, so he only recommended 0-1 crowns.

The hygienists and front desk are all so lovely and kind. The office is really clean and pretty.

I came in later for fillings and couldn't believe how quickly it went by because Dr. Ortega and his assistant worked so efficiently.

I am very happy with the dental work they provide. Since I have begun going here in Aug22 my teeth feel healthier and hopefully do not deteriorate any further than they had before I started going here. My hygienist is caring and gentel. I am a nervous person when it comes to having fillings or other work done and the staff does a great job of answering my questions and putting my nerves at ease. I just got fillings yesterday and today my teeth feel fine. Happy patient. 🦷🪥😁

Very professional and nice! I had a tooth extracted today and the doc was very gentle yet firm enough to pull the tooth.
My last visit was for a cleaning and exam. The hygienist is very personable, gentle and professional.
I can't say enough about Capitola Dental. It's a great place to get your teeth worked on. Can't wait to go back to whiten my teeth.

I had major work done. 4 fillings and a root extract! Every step of the way, I was relaxed and more comfortable than any other dentistry. The folks here are wonderful. Friendly. Efficient. These folks got mad skills and are very proud of their work. Beautiful photos all over the office. It's practically a spa.

Best experience in a dental office I’ve ever had. The offices are great of course, they’re clean & have lots of high tech equipment to make your visit faster & easier. The best thing about this place though is the team. My first visit, beginning with talking with Dacia to coordinate a treatment plan, payment & scheduling made me feel at ease. The staff are kind, knowledgeable & understanding, especially if you’re like me & get anxiety about going to the dentist. I truly felt like they cared about my experience & my health which is very refreshing to me. The staff also has a lot of experience & it shows. I’d recommend this place to everyone.

All the front and back office staff are so kind and welcoming and they truly care about each patient. My hygienist today is so talented and made the cleaning experience painless and efficient with a caring bedside manner, ( her name is Brynne but forgive me if I got her name wrong ) she made my cleaning like going to the spa !

Dr Ortega and his staff were so wonderful to me on my first visit. I’m dealing with an unusual nerve disorder called burning mouth syndrome and needed a soft mouth guard to provide relief for my tongue and upper palette. They consulted with me, made mouth impressions and the finished product was done by the same afternoon. Amazing and impressive! Can’t thank them enough.
