I went a total of 4 times. First session was good, since it was with an actual therapist. Each appointment after that i saw less and less of the therapist, 10 minutes each time. Handed off to assistant who kept walking away. I basically did my exercises by myself. Had 3 different "hand-offs" as they call it on my last appointment. Overall I was extremely disappointed with this facility. Not sure how they have so many good reviews. Possibly these people have never had good physical therapy.

William Dance PT, DPT (aka “Will”) was my physical therapist for nearly 4 months guiding the way to increasing mobility in my left shoulder. My therapy sessions concluded in January 2025.
In the initial meeting with Will, he listened carefully to my concerns related to improving movement. He completed a comprehensive review of my physical functioning, and then developed a program plan to improve my ability to move my left arm and shoulder. He was very attentive to my improvement level and set a pace for exercises and stretches that was manageable.
My functioning has improved significantly. I credit Will for his ongoing encouragement to remain steadfast with the program plan. Each session he talked with me, carefully listening to my perspective, and examining my physical level of improvement. Then he updated the plan to optimize my efforts toward increased mobility.

My first session was great, very informative, loved that all the exercises were loaded into the app so it was easy to them at home. However 2nd session I saw my PT for 10 min before I was passed off to someone else who quickly explained the new exercises and then walked off, didn't check if I was doing them right and wasn't watching what I was doing at all. Also did not give me handouts for the new exercises or load them into the app. Was quite discouraged and am not going back. I am shocked they have so many good reviews.

I have been using California Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy for my shoulder surgery rehab this last five months. This place and there staff are exceptional! William Danse was a great help in my recovery training and advise as I returned to my normal active work and life schedule. Everything from scheduling appointments with the front desk staff to there PT assistants was a great experience. I would rate this facility a 10 out of 10.

This is a really top-notch place to get PT! The staff are VERY friendly and helpful. My therapist, Stephan, listened carefully to my initial problems, and designed a series of stretches and exercises I could do both at the facility and at home, to help me achieve my goals. Coy, the PT assistant who worked with me, carefully explained how to do each stretch or exercise, and then coached me as I did them at the facility. Between the two of them — as well as my own dedication to following through at home — we were able to significantly reduce my pain and improve my strength and flexibility in about 3 weeks. The facility is also VERY nice: bright, well stocked, and with a positive atmosphere. I’d heartily recommend it to anyone who needs PT!

Since I have been going to PT at Cal Rehab I have been so impressed with my recovery of my recent hand surgery! Not only does my hand feel better every time I leave but the staff is so friendly too! My therapist Lenice is the best! She knows just how to treat my aches and pains and makes my hand feel great for the week until I see her the next time! My experience at California Rehab and Sports PT was positive, and I highly recommend this practice! After experiencing hip pain, my physician recommended physical therapy, and I’m so grateful that my first PT experience was such a positive one from start to finish. Since completing PT, my hip pain has improved significantly and I can enjoy being active without worry.

I would give California Rehabilitation & Sports Therapy - 10 out of 10. They really are that good!!!! Please, when you next need any kind of rehabilitation therapy, try this facility. Brian and ALL of his team are outstanding in their knowledge, human approach and insistence to get you where you want to be. Thank you guys. Will never forget each and every one of you.
