All they care about is getting that financial aid money this school is a joke.They don’t support the student educational needs what so ever. They never have a proper structure for the assignment due dates, never communicate properly with student always send you to voice mail when you call to ask a question. Always make you feel like a bother. Please don’t be aware when enrolling to this school they care more about money then your educational needs and will never have a proper answer for you as the students are always in the wrong.

I had a great experience at California Career Institute while completing my Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) program. The program provided a solid foundation in both theoretical knowledge and hands-on clinical training, preparing me well for my career in nursing. The instructors were knowledgeable, supportive, and genuinely invested in student success.

One of the highlights of my journey was the supportive environment created by both faculty and peers. The curriculum was challenging yet manageable, and the clinical rotations provided valuable real-world experience in different healthcare settings.

I proudly graduated in October and was fortunate to be hired as a Student Success team member at CCI. This role has allowed me to give back to the school, helping current students navigate their own journeys to success.

If you’re looking for a structured, supportive, and career-focused LVN program, I highly recommend California Career Institute. They not only prepare students for the NCLEX but also provide career support to help graduates succeed in the field.

I went to enroll into the school, drove all the way from Hawthorne to Garden Grove to test. On my way Mike texts me very rudely; then once I arrived at the school he didn’t even take me to his office he stood in the entrance area and talked about all my personal Buisness and when my 74 year old grandmother asked him a question he became rude and disrespectful to her. He then walked away to the back officer, she asked the receptionist a question and he popped his head out and started talking with his hands and saying “I’m not going to repeat myself I clearly told you everything just now and if you didn’t understand you can go, and come back when you do”
That was totally unprofessional when we were just trying to get information about a campus that cost $29,000 to attend. Who wouldn’t have questions when you’re about to spend that much money. If I could give this school NEGATIVE stars I would.

Do not go to this school As soon as I entered Mike was already hessitant about getting my social hes like did you bring your social and ID. I asked him if I could get an overview of the program first he's like you came to take the entrance exam im like no I want more information regarding the program first. he got mad/ angry I didn't want to give him my social and ID and hes like im the director of education and I choose who gets in or not and just like that get out!!?! Just because I wanted somebody to go over more detailed information regarding the program really. All they care about is getting that financial aid money this school is a joke. At first I thought this has to be a joke then he proceeded to say get out leave if you didnt bring your social bye. Nice way to lure in your potential student so much for first impressions.This school is a joke!! Don't waist your time with them keep doing your research on these private schools. Might wanna look into Concorde or Stanbridge atleast they don't come out as money hungry as these people here! Good luck to everybody trying to better themselves!

Great school with great instructors that taught us well!!!! I Was able to go to school ,work, be a mom and had time to study due to them haveing a part time program, which is extremely hard to find.... After it all i was able to pass the final after the first time.... i greatly appreciate the time and efforts and patience they put into us students... Thank u CCI!

Very disorganized! The instructors were horrible contradicted themselves and the book. They made me promises when I signed up but when it came towards to the end of my time there they didn't follow through. They may be Cheaper then other schools but you Definetly get what u pay for.
