On 12/21 I started coming down with what felt like strep throat. All the walk-in urgent care clinics were closed so my husband drove me to Cabot Emergency Hospital. We were taken back to a room quickly and the nurse came in almost right away. She took my vitals and asked why I was there. I said to check for strep. She left and about two to three minutes later Dr. Mason came in. He looked in my ears, down my throat, and felt my neck. That took about 45 seconds. He turned around and said I can give you an antibiotic. I asked if he was going to do a strep test and he said no, that would take too long, tonight I'm just treating. I asked again for the test and he finally ordered it. Then the admitting nurse came to my room wanting the $300 copay. The treating nurse came back with the strep swab and I asked to be tested for flu as well. I told her for $300 I expect some sort of effort to treat. She seemed irritated and said she'd ask Dr. Mason if I needed those tests. She came back and swabbed for everything, then said we would wait for the results to come back. About 15 minutes later a new nurse back in with a cup of pills and some paperwork, showing my diagnosis as some sort of throat infection I had never heard of. This was the first time it had been mentioned. I asked if my tests had come back and she didn't know I'd had any. She said to take the pills and leave, they would call if my tests came back positive for anything. I then asked about the throat infection diagnosis and where that came from and she got flustered and said she didn't know, she'd just come on shift. She seemed irritated with my questions. I explained I'd seen the doctor for less than two minutes, had to argue to get tested, and now was being given a random diagnosis and told to leave. She asked sarcastically if I "needed" to see the doctor again. At that point, it seemed best to just leave, as no one cared about my treatment, just putting some diagnosis on paper for billing purposes and turning the room over quickly enough to qualify for whatever speed treating bonus the doctor gets. I will never come to this place ever again. After reading the reviews, I'm also sure looking forward to getting the bill from this place. If their complete lack of any care on my visit is any indication, they won't put any thought into proper billing either.

I was treated with extreme compassion and kindness from the moment I walked into the facility. The entire staff went above and beyond of just doing their normal “duties” . It was a completely different experience than any other ER I’ve been too. They kept me informed and was very efficient, which is exactly what you want and need while being sick.

Incredible care. They focused on my needs and they expressed a desire to make me feel better quickly. They were quick I believe the total time we were in the Hospital was under 45 minutes. Their online checking was easy to use and sped up the process. I have been involved in medical treatment of patients for 40 years and this is the best care I have seen in years. Highly recommend and will use them again if I am ever in need of emergency care.

I had excellent and quick care at this emergency room! It was clean and so fast. The staff was caring and attentive to my issues. I was so thankful and will be going back if needed! They even called to check and see how I was doing a few days later! I would totally recommend.

We visited the Cabot ER with our child after her fever became very high. The front desk staff started our paperwork over the phone while I drove there. The wait was just a few minutes before we were taken back. The Radiology Tech, Nurses, and Dr. Archer were great. Everyone was extremely nice, helpful, and prompt with their service. We felt very comfortable with the care our child received and the service from everyone involved. As a parent with a very sick child, I was comforted knowing that my child was being cared for by a knowledgeable team of healthcare workers. Thank you!

We had an amazing experience at Cabot Emergency Hospital! The doctors, nurses, staff, facility…every single thing was top notch and the complete opposite of any other ER experience I’ve encountered. I honestly didn’t have one single complaint and would make the drive from Searcy again without thinking twice.

Very impressed with the sense of urgency that was used for my daughter. There was absolutely no wait time and the team of medical staff was very attentive to her. They treated us all with respect and listened to everything we had to say. The cleanliness of this facility is unmatched! Will definitely refer others to Cabot ER. Hopefully we don’t have to come back, but if we need urgent services, Cabot ER is the place we will go first.
