Then I will feel totally confident in this place

Ok well I got my answer my husband needed his Trac put back in because he pulled it out. They not only put it back in successful his oxygen didn’t drop low before they could put new one in . They call me if they need information or want to inform me of something, I don’t have to beg them to help him they come on a regular schedule cleaning and making sure he ok so I have to Thank God he sent some angels to guard my love !!! Miss. Esther, Jason, John, Maria , Valerie , Susan , more names as I learn them if I said their names wrong , I will put up another review soon and correct them
Thanks team !!!!! You guys are so amazing and special even beautiful Larry and Jennifer at the front desk and the administrative team. It even goes down to the activities director she smiles and hugs with her beautiful red hair , make us few like we been there forever . The weak part is the physical therapy team they look like they don’t want to be there. some of them don’t smile or communicate well at all I ask to see the main supervisor for 3 weeks and she never there. if the told her she has never come down to reevaluate my husband or do any kind of work with him or check to see if the RNA is doing a evaluation of his progress . No information from them I even took him in the room to do exercises and they looked away didn’t bother to even speak . What’s up with that weird!!!! But I Will recommend this place and it’s clean and does not smell .

My dad is currently in here because of his spinal cord injury. He currently is recovering well with the help from the staff here. Especially, the therapy team has been a great help. The therapists are helpful, kind and patient. They have only been the best and nothing more.

I just want to take a moment to share my experience, as this was my first time having my parents stay in a nursing home. After a fall, they were sent to the ER, and from there, it was recommended they be discharged to a skilled nursing facility for rehabilitation. As you can imagine, I was overwhelmed and nervous. The unknowns kept me up at night—were they eating well? Sleeping okay? Were they being taken care of? Were their needs being met? So many questions and worries clouded my mind.
But I can honestly say that every single visit put my heart at ease. I stayed for hours, making sure they were doing okay, and each time, I saw how well they were recovering. The staff was kind, attentive, and truly dedicated to their care. I’ve heard some horror stories about nursing homes, so I’m beyond grateful that my experience was the complete opposite.

I want to especially thank the incredible staff at Buena Park Nursing Center, especially Jenny and Kelly, the social workers who were my lifeline throughout this journey. I bombarded them with questions (so many!) but not once did they ever make me feel like I was a burden. They were always patient, caring, and genuinely concerned about my parents’ well-being. They made all the difference for me, and I’m so thankful for their kindness and professionalism.

My parents were discharged a week and a half ago, and I’m happy to report they’re doing wonderfully at home, receiving physical therapy and loving it. While I can’t speak for everyone’s experience, I’m writing this to share my positive experience at Buena Park Nursing Center. Jenny and Kelly are absolute superstars, and I’ll always be grateful for their support!

I am truly grateful for Kim Benecki and staff members at Buena Park Nursing Center for being sensitive to my parents’ needs as they walked me through the whole admission process. They were also caring and loving towards my parents. Kim and the staff members were professional and resourceful when providing medical assistance.

My father was sent here by his case worker 5 days after having a stroke. The place smelled bad, looked like a 3rd world clinic, and was 95% elderly patients. We did not want to leave him alone here and were allowed to stay almost the first 2 days but then we were met with the ridiculous 45 minute only one at a time visiting period policy. We spoke to the director, administrators, and doctor expressing great discomfort about leaving him there alone to no avail. The next day when we get there his bed is all the way up with the remote on the ground, even though he was a fall risk, and his blood sugar is high because they had neglected to give him water and gave him food that was bad for his kidney failure. We finally get a room at a better facility and 30 seconds after we arrive the staff there diagnose him with pneumonia and he is rushed back to the hospital. This is absolutely neglectful and this facility deserves to be shut down. I don’t know who created the 45 minute policy but it is criminal to keep a family away from their loved one like this. He is not some old guy roaming about the halls. He is a stroke victim with diabetes, stage 4 cancer, and kidney failure. The care they provided and their unwillingness to let us take care of him disgusts me. I do not recommend ANYONE come here if you actually care about your love one’s well being and safety.

I'm a family friend of a patient in the subacute and I noticed some issues recently. I think the management, corporate, or whoever is in charge of this place is not doing their job. The workers are making sure patients are being taking care of, but the place always seems understaffed. I noticed because they are always using nurses instead of respiratory therapists. This is very concerning. Could be dangerous.

My mother Jung Ji Suh was staying at this facility for 2 months. Many staffs were great, but I would like to recognize Christian (LVN) as his excellent bedside manner to mother. He always greeted my mother and other patients with great smile care. Dorilla Rodriguez (CNA) was always concerned as mother couldn't eat food. She even wen extra miles by gaving mother a shower on a Sunday which was not the day to provide shower as she knew mother didn't get it for past several days and wanted it. She did all this with great smile on her face. Jenny Chung (Nutritionist) brought some food from home and provided to mother as mother had no appetite. With her food and great care, mother slowly regained her appetite, and able to recover quickly. Her going extra miles showed me how much she cared for patient, and her dedication to her work. Kelly Kim (Social Service) for her in-depth knowledge and providing all the information on a very timely manner. It have been frustrating for her as I called her often, but she always responded nicely in a very professional manner. Christian, Dorilla, Jenny, and Kelly, your dedicated service to my mother and to your work really helped her to recover quickly. I really appreciate you guys, and rest of the staffs at Buena Park Nursing Center. Your service was above and beyond and I truly appreciate it. Thank you so much. You guys are amazing!

DON'T SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. If I could give 0 stars I would. There is 0 parking for visitors, employees park even on the 4 parking spaces for visitors. This place smells terrible and lacks major maintenance throughout the entire building. Staff is in adequate and careless. Medical equipment throughout the facility beeps all the time, which staff ignores because they too busy making TikTok videos in the halls. They also tend to be short staff, like all the time. If your loved one has heart problems don't send them here either, they don't monitor the heart/oxygenation machine like in a hospital or better nursing center. If stuff like this happens when one is visiting, can you imagine what happens when patients don't have visitors. The list goes on, this place needs to be shut down.
