I have no complains about Dr. Brotherton. He was kind and listened to me. However I went in for an issue that had caused the side of my face to swell. After xrays I was scheduled for an extraction a week later. I was given an antibiotic for infection and pain medication to manage the pain until the surgery. I arrived a week later for my appointment, but their office was closed. I spent the next two days trying to contact the office, but no one was ever there. I finally reached someone Monday afternoon, five days after my scheduled extraction, and I was given no apology or explanation for why they weren't in the office the day of my appointment. I was told I could be seen the follow Wednesday, but when I explained that the medication I was given was not helping the pain, I was treated like the only reason I was calling was to get more pain meds. I was told that he doesn't like to refill pain meds until surgery has happened, and when I politely tried to explain that we were coming up on a week PAST my scheduled surgery, the receptionist said, "uh huh," and hung up on me.
This was after how I witnessed her treat other patients when I was in the office for my initial visit. She was rude to me and others, and I will never step foot in this office again. My family has used Dr. Brotherton for years, but if this is the first impression people have when they walk into his clinic, I will find somewhere else to go.
