My father was scheduled to for a 21 day rehab there. Upon intake, the staff was informed he would need help and cues with ADL's. He only changed clothes 3 times in 21 days. I spoke to them about it and nothing changed. When taking him out for a week for a funeral, we told the nurse 2 days prior. When we went to take him out, the nurse said no one told her, when I talked to her directly. While pack his clothes, there was a large roach in the room. Upon getting ready for his return, I called and they forgot he was coming back. There was no bed ready for him for 4 days.

My mom's cousin was actually at this facility for a while and had recently passed away, but the nursing staff was great. I do remember 2 or 3 in particular that was amazing during his stay there and those people where Ashley Wilkerson and Phyllis Rudolph. I believe his nurses were Kim and Joyce. I didn't get Joyce's or Kim's last name as I was leaving that day but I will say these women made his passing more bearable. Ashley and Phyllis took turns coming in to see if we needed anything and helped us get his things to the car. I will definitely be giving these ladies 5 stars as well as the Brookshire facility in whole. I know I see some bad reviews but I seriously think it's all about who u come into contact with. Remember this world is full of bad people and good people and I would definitely recommend this facility and the great team that's there. Thank you ladies and brookshire for all of your hard work and comforting angels during that difficult time.

Mrs.Phyllis Rudolph is always nice to me and treats me with very much respect. She does love to eat but will always offer us food. She is a very good caregiver and I will always know if she's taking care of me I'm in good hands.

The staff at Brookshire are caring and professional. They have been helpful during all phases of treatment and rehab and doctors appointments. Ms. Ophelia Lee has gone out of her way more than once to provide assistance in accompanying me to doctors appointments. Would have been lost without her help!

I’ll start off by saying I’ve been a resident here since July of 2015. This place has had its ups and downs, good and bad moments over the years. But overall right now they have a great staff. Second shift has the best overall team in my opinion with first shift coming in a close 2nd place.

On 1st shift they have Kierra who's a sweetheart. On second shift they have Phyllis Rudolph who is a great cna. Very nice, kind and caring. Ashley Wilkerson is another great cna. She’s also kind and caring and funny. She always cracks me up with her personality. Dee is a really cool guy as well. Overall they are my favorites. But 2nd shift in general is great!! On 3rd shift Shantia is a great cna also.

As for the front office Summer is a sweet person. As well as Jessica. Sherrie the social worker is also nice. If I have an issue I can go to her and she takes care of it ASAP. There’s so much more I could say but in general I’m happy with the way things are right now since Venzacare took over from the previous company. I know I’m missing a few people but I apologize for that.

If I had one gripe about Brookshire it would be the food quality and drink selection could be better. And more variety.

Beverly Little is one of the professionals at Brookshire who helps take care of my elderly father. She is the right balance of spicy and sweet to the residents. She makes time to engage with my father and to see that his needs are met.

My mother was placed in Brookshire Health Center primarily for physical therapy. The physical therapist had her up and walking on her walker in no time. Kudos to the team of therapist who help get her up and moving.
