Dont get me wrong, i didn't like Dr. Rifai at first, he appeared too professional for myself.
But to be fair, I can't deny how component he is at his job and his independent method of treating mental illness.
his approach to treat mental illness is different.

i have had 2 suicidal attempts.
I was hospitalized 3 times.
and did two of 12 sensations of ECT's before my previous psychiatrist referred me to Dr. Rifai.

I usually don’t waste my time on negative reviews, but feel strongly to warn anyone seeking help to avoid this doctor and practice. We see psychiatrists to help our well-being and it is so hard to seek help, so it is shameful that this practice and Dr. Refai are so negligent. They will not return calls or typically will not answer the phone, and you will not have consistency in seeing the same doctor. I will not go into detail about the visit they billed me for that I did not have and they sent to collections because I see they are discrediting anyone who speaks out, but I don’t believe for a second that Dr. Refai is innocent of the charges against him. It seems any positive reviews are filled with typos and do not seem legitimate. It’s criminal this doctor continues to practice, do yourself a favor and seek care elsewhere!

After seeing multiple other psychiatrists who were ineffective in treating my son for schizophrenia, we were fortunate for a referral to Dr. Rifai. He got us on a program which returned our family to stability and normality. I highly recommend him.
