After a really bad experience with a dermatologist at Monument Health, I went to Julie Krein at Black Hills Dermatology for a second opinion. She is very compassionate, easy to talk to, and knowledgeable. She agreed that the diagnosis and medications that were being pushed on me at Monument Health were inappropriate, and actually would have caused me harm as I did not need them. I now see Julie Krein for all of my dermatology needs, and I highly recommend her!

I have been seen by many dermatologist in my life and Dr. Young is by far the best one I have ever worked with. I have been using her for about 8 years now. She is very knowledgeable, passionate and friendly, her staff is always helpful and makes you feel very comfortable. I owe her my life because she keep finding cancer moles on me, even after I moved to Hawaii I still contact her and send her pictures of questionable ones seeking her advise. She has always been right on the diagnosis even before the labs confirmations. I will always use Dr. Young and always recommend her to friends and family!

Dr. Young and her team at Black hills have been extremely professional and make it their mission to make patients as comfortable as possible. So far Dr. Young has removed about 40 moles from my body and I have not had a single problem there after. From the examination, to the procedures, to insurance and paperwork, Dr. Young and her staff make everything go as smooth as humanly possible. Thank you Dr. Young and Black hills dermatology.

My mother is the main doctor here and although we're family, everyone I've ever spoken with, my friends, my family and I have never had a bad experience with her or Julie as a physician. I truly believe she is the best dermatologist in town and her credentials speak for themselves.

I had a tattoo laser removal session with Dr. Young, I was told I would see a noticeable difference in the tattoo. You literally cannot tell I had a laser removal session at all!!! For what they charge ($450) I definitely feel like I got ripped off. I called and spoke with the administrator to express my concerns and give them chance to make it right, they did not.
If you are looking to get a tattoo removed I suggest you go somewhere cheaper.... the results I got speak for themselves.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Not only is Black Hills Dermatology unprofessional but, they are extremely rude and catty. I DO NOT recommend going here. I have nothing but bad things to say about them and have heard nothing but terrible things about them. The billing department is by far the worst part to deal with. Two thumbs DOWN.

This place is not the place to go if you're looking for a competent group of medical professionals. Finally after 5 visits of coming in and 3 different medications I got to see the actual doctor and she tells me there's nothing they can do for me. She then tells me next time if I dont get an answer from the nurse practitioner to ask for the doctor. I came here thinking I was going to see a doctor. If you know your staff isn't compent and able to help why are they working here? Dont waste your time and money coming here like I did. Also their waiting room is disgusting and makes me wonder when the last time they cleaned the exam rooms.
