I came to Bay Lakes Center for Complex Dentistry before facing 2 complex spine surgeries. I was concerned about some jaw pain I was having, knowing that I needed a crown or two. I spoke with Dr. Hallas, who was kind enough to suggest xrays in order to erase the concern that the tooth had worsened and could cause a huge problem with spinal surgery. He said that I could rest easy, and that both teeth had no infections and could wait for crowns until the surgeries were done. That eased my mind no end, and I appreciate his thoughtfulness so much. What a kindness he showed me just when I needed the news to be good! I will happily return when I am done with rehab. I recommend Bay Lakes Center for Complex Dentistry to anyone!

Dr. Matthew Hallas is a real decent person. He was highly recommended from another dentist advising me to go see Dr. Hallas being that he specializes in complex issues with dental implants. I had upper and lower implants previously installed from outside of the US and I was experiencing some very concerning issues. I've been to three dentists previously and all three suggested that I should go and see a specialist. Dr. Hallas reviewed the xrays that were sent to him then asked me about my concerns. After answering my questions he explained all of the problems that he saw on my xrays in a very professional and blunt manner which was exactly what I came there to hear the truth whether it be good or bad. He explained I'd need a total reconstruction of my upper and lower implants along with giving me a rough estimate of what it would cost to have all the work done there vrs my other option of traveling out of the US for a complete redue. Dr. Hallas said no charge for his consultation and to reschedule with him if I'd like. He's a very decent straight forward person which proved to me that he truly cares and wants to help people.

I too, like many others who’ve reviewed Bay Lakes have an unfortunate history with previous dentists, genetics, teaching when I was young etc.
I was referred by an Appleton dentist to Dr Hallas. The anxiety set in due to my history. Fear. My journey has taken a hit at my vanity.
I cannot express enough how great Dr. Hallas and his whole team are. They’ve been so patient with me and the varying obstacles.
I am still on my rebuilding journey. It hasn’t been fun all the time BUT it’s necessary. I was so worried I’d look weird/different in the process and I don’t. Dr Hallas is restoring my trust in the Dentistry field. I have tears as I write this. He listens, is caring, loves to joke around, and is super down to earth and easy to talk to about whatever concerns you’re having. Sooo worth the drive.
Yes, price. That’s a kicker for most. But, we used hsa, care credit, and they work with you.

Bay Lakes Center for complex dentistry is the best place to go in the area. These guys are awesome! I'm currently working with them on a Full Mouth Reconstruction. My teeth have always been bad. Even as a child my teeth were troublesome with a bad bite and constant cavities. I worked in several rough industries as a mechanic and the money, insurance, time, and fortitude never allowed me to do anything about my bad teeth. By 45 years old my teeth started rotting to the point that I was sick and they started falling out. My wife and I decided enough is enough and we started doing something about it. I was referred to Bay Lakes by a dentist that realized he was in way over his head with my complex problems. Working with Bay Lakes has been as good as something as trying as this can get. They understand the difficulties a person goes through and do everthing they can to help you along the way. Some of the procedures I have had are no fun. I feel like by going to Bay Lakes I've given myself the best chance to get this done and done right the first time. Don't take chances with the others guys if you got real problems go to the pros at Bay Lakes.
