I will always regret allowing my husband to be transferred there. From the administrator to the cook to the janitor, this has to be the worst facility ever. It's like being in a third world country. The residents had to look out for each other because the staff was so UNcaring. Maybe 3 or 4 nurses actually did their jobs.
They kept sending my husband to ER trying to label him suicidal then homicidal. My husband was suffering from dehydration while having an IV. They couldn't even give him water! When the staff found out my husband was putting them on speaker while they verbally abused him they started breaking his chargers and never replaced the 4 they broke. A social worker for my husband had to call the health department on them. Please don't allow your loved ones to be sent there. Fight for them to go elsewhere! ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

Worse facility ever! I’m also in the medical field so I pretty much know how it should be ran. This is NOT it. The food they served looked gross and thrown on a plate. The men serving the food always looked mad as hell. Never trusted them to be around these senior women. No privacy, one nurse tried her best but was always “off the last couple days…no direction. Finally moved my elderly Mother and she brought home cockroaches in her luggage. The bed was flat and looked uncomfortable, place was poverty strickened looking. Tons of loud fans everywhere. On several of my visits kept running into another patient in
a wheelchair who kept telling me she was hungry. I believed her. She even wandered in my Mother’s room trying to take food I took for my Mom. Folks think twice about checking your loved one here.

My 75 yo mother was sent here by Medicare to recover from breaking her foot and ankle. She experienced the worst care ever. Pain and anxiety meds prescribed were never given for days, she would be left sitting in soiled underwear for hours after constantly hitting the call light, TV didn’t work, crazy patients crammed in the room with her who were up all night screaming keeping her awake, food was atrocious it was uneatable, etc. During her stay she developed a bad cough. It turned out to be treatable lung cancer with 6 radiation treatments. My mom chose not to get the treatments because she was so miserable, the cancer spread to her vocal cords and went terminal. She just passed away on 2/20/24 of lung cancer just to get out of that place.

I’ve lost my mom who was so sweet, kind, funny and thoughtful. We were very close. I can’t stop crying. If you care anything about your family member stay far far away!!! There are many complaints filed with the Dept of Heath and the owners of the facility. Unfortunately I’m disabled too and could not afford to get her into a better facility. Medicare and social workers did nothing to get her into a better place either.

This bad reviews are nonsense honestly. My grandma was here. And honestly the people do not understand how healthcare workers go through on the daily. You need to understand that patients have dementia and Alzheimer’s which is also a reason you sent your love one to the hospital and cannot care for them anymore at home. This facility was wonderful with my grandma. Tour was easy and very descriptive, I was also introduce to Rita which is the Administrator and was very welcoming. Hospitals, facility any health care are in shortage with nurses and will always be short staff and need to understand that. I respect and appreciate the staff!

If I could give negative stars!!
This place is exactly what all the reviews say. Every day it’s something, I tried to be polite but the management and supervisors aren’t qualified. I called the abuse coordinator and I’m still waiting on a reply. They can’t be this busy or have that much abuse to investigate? Someone tell Ms. Rita to call me. I have witnessed the patients smoking in the hallway like they couldn’t wait to get the the patio and no one said anything, I’ve witnessed patients walking around in their own feces. All the nurse did was tell her “you need to stay in your room” but no one actually showed up to clean her. Patients scream for assistance all day long. I feel so bad for the people that have no one to check on them. AND I CANT BLAME THE NURSES, they are all trying their best and are in the same position. Understaffed and no one gives them a correct answer. No supervisors show their face when asked, the administration is always busy. ?

Reading these past reviews and I’m so shocked. I had the complete opposite experience with my aunt. She had nothing but good things to say about her care. Nursing was very accommodating, business office was very helpful. As well as admissions coordinator was very informing and gave a very detailed tour.

I cannot say enough great things about Bay Crest Care Center which took care of my dad from 11/12/22 through 12/14/22. The staff were all caring, attentive and compassionate as if my dad was their own. The staff would attend to his every need with patience and love. I highly recommend this nursing facility for any of your loved ones and saw many other facilities that were less than par. Thank you Bay Crest Care Center staff for all of your love and compassion to my father.

They lost my father today, they called 911 to transfer gim and then had no information on where he was. It took us over 4 hours to find him and at that point he wasn't even at the place bay crest told us he was transfered to. I will be looking to what legal actuon i can take against this facility. Do not let your loved ones be placed at bay crest, they will die and the facility doesn't care.
