My wife has Multiple Sclerosis and is paralyzed from the waist down. She has to have an MD. along with her Neurologist. We started seeing Dr. Carney about 5 to 6 years ago. To say the least, Dr. Carney and his nurse Amy have ALWAYS been friendly, professional and really care about you. The front office has always made sure to get messages back to the nurse, because she always calls you back promptly. Thank you Dr. Carney and Amy for making us feel like family, hence family Dr. Happy Holidays to your whole crew.

The comments above are not without their merits. I presented to the clinic to see Monique Thammavong like the others above. I was having difficulty navigating my insurance so I thought primary care could be a first step. I wish I had not done so. I was put through unnecessary tests and procedures by ladies who were impulsive and rude and did not follow proper safety protocols before running tests. Monique cancels on me for a follow-up. When I see my chart my jaw drops to the ground and I decided not to go back again and cancel the future appointment I had actually made after I was canceled on. Well, apparently this wasn’t acceptable as the next thing I know I get a “follow-up” and am being diagnosed and prescribed for a condition I don’t have. I try for weeks just to get ahold of the clinic to no avail and then when I do get ahold of the clinic I am apologized to over and over (a little too overdone, I thought). So, I guess the clinic decides to take revenge because I state my intention to no longer want to receive their services. So, my e-mail is suddenly filled with details not only from my first visit that are about 80% truth and 20% lies (suddenly I am the one who “didn’t have time to talk” to Monique and a few things I never said are inserted in the “notes” that were never originally there for the first summary- they added details to the after visit summary over a month later), but I am also getting an overload of diagnoses for wild out-there things like “nasal inflammation” and “anxiety” and am being scheduled for appointments with specialists I’ve never heard of and for procedures completely unrelated to what I even came there for. I can’t explain just how much I feel I’ve been wronged. But, that’s OK, apparently the clinic can do whatever they want to whomever they want without consequences. Just mix truth with falsehoods and case closed. My private health issues I confided in confidence were tossed around all over the place. This is a clear breach of ethics and fiduciary duty-not to mention the doctor-patient confidential relationship. But, that’s right, Monique is not a doctor. She is a nurse practitioner and so not subject to the jurisdiction of the medical board. The worst thing this state has done of late is to allow nurse practitioners to practice independently as though they were actual medical doctors. She is not competent and doesn’t even know what she’s doing. She twisted my words and my health issues into something I never presented with. This was done out of pure spite and possibly has even come with financial ramifications to myself.

I went in for congestion problems and when I got back into a room, the nurse told me that she was going to swab me for COVID. I told her I didn't want to be swabbed nor did I asked to be swabbed. She exited the room and Doctor Thammavong came in a little later. She got upset that I wouldn't take the swab for COVID, to which I told her that I never asked for a test. She then scolded me about my Husband's doctor appointment that I canceled a week earlier. That is the receptionist fault for not telling Dr. Thammavong about me canceling his appointment because he felt better and he didn't have anymore symptoms. She then asked about my family which was irrelevant because I was there for me and not my family. She prescribed medicine, but didn't know if I actually had a problem with that or needed to be on it. After the appointment, I got a text that said my next appointment was canceled. I called to ask why and the receptionist said that Thammavong does not want to see me again. I do not recommend going here.

Dr. Nouansavane is a great doctor! He is thorough and professional. He takes the time to listen to the issues we are having and finds a solution. Even if that means referring out to a different doctor. He has called late into the evening to check on my daughter and to share lab results as he gets them. I wouldn't trust my daughters with anyone else.

Monique thammavong is straight TERRIBLE at her job. I mean TERRIBLE.
THE ABSOLUTE WORST I have ever been treated. LEFT IN TEARS. WITHOUT BEING PROPERLY SEEN!!
First time I have EVER walked out of a Drs. Office.
Not shocked by the one star rating.

monique thammavong Shouldn’t be allowed to see patients.
Zero credibility.
MEAN and RUDE.
Has zero bedside manner.
Cannot properly communicate.
Couldn’t finish an ASTHMA appt.
Total quack job.

Look elsewhere for CARE OR RESPECT BECAUSE NEITHER ARE HERE. ?
