The cafeteria is amazing. I look forward to seeing what they whip up all the time. The desserts are off the charts 🔥. Staff is super friendly and positive. They are changing the narrative on hospital food they absolutely rock.

Recently I had an emergency appendectomy here. From the time we came to the ER until the time I was discharged, the entire staff did an outstanding job of providing care to me. Being in the hospital is stressful enough, but the nurses that took care of me did a fantastic job. Although multiple people were involved with my procedure and follow up, a special shout out to Pang, Corryn and Nikki for making my stay comfortable. Highly recommend this hospital if the need arises!

NOT HAPPY…. I had an 84 year old client have a hip replacement surgery. Number one I don’t agree with the physical therapy the day of or after surgery.pushing the patient to the Utmost extreme just to get them out of there. Especially, when the patient is of a much older age. EVERYBODY IS DIFFERENT AND EVERYBODY HEALS DIFFERENTLY. NOT ONE PERSON CAN GO AT THE SAME PACE. And why would you send a patient home after having Narcotics if they have not had a bowel movement? I was under the impression that he must’ve had a bowel movement otherwise they would not have released him. He is not a person that can fathom any sort of pain as is. Everything was so unbearable.. from having absolutely no energy coming home to not having a BM for days and then prostate issues. With the pain being so unbearable he had no appetite and with no appetite, he was hardly eating and hardly drinking and was dehydrated on top of it all. Went to ER , hip was swollen, red, and very warm. Two ER doctors said it was definitely infected. Sent a phonoto surgeon and surgeon said it wasn’t. How you can tell thru a picture, I don’t know. However, Thankfully the ER Doctor gave patient an Antibiotic thru I.V. to be on safe side. Patient was admitted to hospital. Trying to figure out pain meds. He was admitted for two nights. They never took off his compression socks both nights. I wrote on board to do his eye drops 4x daily. They NEVER did them either. The staff is very friendly. I just think communication is horrible.🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

My 84 year old mother was brought there by ambulance because she fell at her assisted living. When I showed up to be with her the receptionist was as rude as you can be!! Finally made it to her room. The doctor was as personal as a insect.. was told that her mri result could take 3 to 4 hours. That was at around 11:30 at night. Told my mom I would be back early morning. Drove 45 minutes back home. The doctor called me at 1:30am to come up and get my mom as she is being released. Told him that I would be up there at 6am. He said they can't keep her there over night (4 1/2 hrs) got dressed and half asleep my my said call them back and let them know you take a sleeping aid and are unfit to be driving. I did and got ahold of the doctors nurse. She was very kind and said no problem we can keep her here over night. I thanked her. (Only kind person I talked to there) I took off work that following day so I could go pick up my mom from the hospital. Drove 45 minutes and got there early Friday morning. Walked in Told the receptionist that I am here to pick up my mom. She said someone picked her up around 3am. This is my 84 year old mother. She the receptionist had no idea who picked her up. Me in panic mood drove to her assisted living, and found out a ambulance took her back home. I received no phone call from this hospital or the doctor that this is what happened. Frikin terrible place!! My mother with dimesha was so confused!! She was there for about 4 hrs had some x-rays and a mri and the bill was around 13 grand. Disgusting!!

The dialysis team there is awesome! They work so hard and care so much for the people there. Thank you guys...

But I don't know what's up with scheduling people or your fax number for labs but you need to fix this trying to get a lab order to you guys the number doesn't work and the lady has no idea what is going on or how to fix it. She acted like it was me and not your people's responsibility. well I fixed the problem for my self and won't be going there for my labs. Thank you

I came in for swelling and inability to swallow without pain. They proceeded to run an MRI, a CAT scan, made fun of me for being unable to swallow the medicine, and were angry i couldn’t answer their questions to which they said i was “combative”. They then gave me some jell-o and I fell asleep after being in so much pain and for being on the bed for three hours with little actually being done. The doctor woke me and asked if i was able to swallow water, where I am but it is still a lot of pain. I know there is a blockage in my throat and Aspirus pushed me out of the door because theyre not in the business of healing, just treating symptoms. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

Not very happy with the results. Father was sent there by ambulance and 4 hours was released and said he was perfectly healthy. How can a person be completely healthy when they can barely walk and fell down 3 times and has a hard time breathing and to weak to do anything. Smokes like a chimney and they said his lungs are completely normal. Definitely not right.

Like other patients stated, I was sent home with another patients printout. We could hear everything said in the next patients room between them and their care team. The itemized bill I received charged me $255 for the strep test and another $221 for the medical staff to diagnose for strep. Bill ended up being close to $800. When I asked why I was charged for a visit with a doctor not seen, I was told that is common practice because the pa who gave care was not within insurance standards to be coded for the visit. When we were discharged they forgot to send the prescription, when I reminded them I was told that sometimes they get talking so fast that they forget. If you can, go to another hospital and avoid Aspirus Divine Savior in Portage.
