Just absolutely poor experience dealing with this office. Impossible to get in contact with including calling and being hung up on. When you are in the office it’s amazing they can continue to do more and more because of openings. The biggest issue is saying a procedure that needs to be done that isn’t covered through dental as it is deemed a surgery and needs to go through medical insurance. No guidance provided on this other than we can get it done now. Now they send a bill for 3x the cost because for medical it is deemed out of network so forcing us to pay full price. When you call to inquire the response is well you should have called your medical provider… not sure how I can do this when I’m told we can take you back right away and that you don’t tell me this will go under medical. I don’t know how I should know this just like I don’t expect them to be an expert in my job. The response given is it’s not their problem. When speaking with my medical insurance they said the dental office is obligated to share this (which they didn’t) and it’s not their first time Aspen Dental has done this. They had said there is class action lawsuits open because of this. My advice stay far far away from Aspen Dental!!

Aspen dental was so helpful to me! I had a crown that suddenly fell out. My normal place answered the phone even tho they’re close on Fridays but they were no help at all. No suggestions, no solutions…again no help at all. I called Aspen and their call center immediately put me in their schedule for Tuesday but he did say that sometimes they take walk ins. So I drove over to see if they could see me by chance and they did take me right away. All the staff was very nice and pleasant. They treated me with care and compassion. The dentist was very professional and I appreciated that their billing person sat down with me and explained all my options and cost. Overall I am very very pleased with Aspen. The fact that they’re open on Fridays is a huge plus too!

the first appt i had with dr. tanu khurana,she had horrible bed side manner, barely spoke to me except to tell me to get a tooth pulled. that behavior continued up to when i went to get a wisdom tooth pulled and she did not communicate with me at all. she did not check to make sure i couldnt feel anything, she just immediately started working on my tooth. when i first started showing signs of pain she was irritated with me. the 2nd time i showed pain and needed her to stop she refused to work on me. i was crying in the chair and she showed no compassion. she did not care about me being in pain. the only good thing she did for me is give me a referral to another surgeon who managed to get me in. when i spike to the front desk about this they just said it was up to the dentist how much local anesthesia can be used. the dr again never communicated that to me. she gave snarky comments ("im not even pulling on the tooth" "i cant work on you if your being like this") then refused to work on me. i called the aspen customer service and explained this experience and they were horrifed, they reassured me they would escalate this matter and the manager of this location would reach out to me.
the oral hygienists and the desk people are so helpful but that doesnt make up for the poor dentist, i sincerely trusted aspen since the oshkosh location was amazing when i got 3 wisdom teeth out in one day, but i will never step foot in an aspen dental again and i will tell everyone i know to avoid this location.

editing to add that i called the same day to make a complaint and was assured the manager of this location would reach out. NEVER HAPPENED
so not only does this office not care about its patients, corporate doesnt either.

The absolute worst dental experience I have ever had. The place stinks of a scam. First, they had to take x-rays, which I told them they could get from my previous dentist. Then I sat in the chair for 30 minutes waiting for the dentist, while the hygienist was doing a check up trying to sell me on a deep clean program - I have never heard of this from any of my previous dentists. When the dentist did come in, she looked in my mouth for about a minute, and said “it looks good” - never saw her again after that. I immediately was ushered to the front, without a cleaning (which is paid for by my insurance), sat down and was told that I could have a deep-cleaning for more than $2,400. I walked away without a cleaning, got online and bought the #1 rated deep-cleaning/water pick brush for #170.

When working on the steps for my new dentures when they went schedule appt for extractions the dental assistant did not seem to care when this would work for me and my schedule. I started to explain and for cut off with this date is open and I said it would not work then I was told I had to do it in a date I was not comfortable with. I called to reschedule. I realized a week from procedure that I had a conflicting doctors appointment in regards to me health which also effects a dental procedure. When called today I was told I was on same appts meaning I had to call everyday. When I left message with dates two days ago no one called me to explain to me. Huh? How does that work with having to stop a life sustaining drug 3 days before? This clinic does not have compassion for their patients. Had they done so on my first attempt to schedule this the first time. Even on the phone I was accused of not being respectful of doctor’s time with my reschedules. Which I gave them several days notice both times. I feel very sad that someone I trust my health with and have paid over $4k for that I am not feeling like they care about me and making me feel comfortable with this phase. I am kind of stuck now as they have my money and my dentures. Never knew of a care facility to put money before compassion for their patients.

I am so thankful I went to Aspen Dental! The staff is so very knowledgeable and helpful. We discussed what plan would be the best for me. I never felt pressured when I was making my decisions. I was in need of dentures and everything was explained to me before the procedure day so I was never caught off guard with anything. My procedure day came and it was simply flawless. Perfection at its best. Thank You Dr. Khurana and your team. You simply are the best!

Tried Aspen because my insurance changed. Regularly went to the dentist every six months. Now Aspen tells me I need a deep cleaning for $2,283. They refused to give me a regular cleaning. I should have checked the reviews ahead of time. It seems they pull this on a lot of people. What a waste of time.

If I could give negative stars, I would Went for a chipped tooth. They took 10 mins of x-rays Then I had to wait in the dentist chair for 10 minutes for a lady to come in and poke my gums and tell me how terrible they are. I just had a deep cleaning done two months before so I know she was full of it. The dentist was rude and refused to answer any questions she had the In-N-Out mentality. Told me I had a cavity but they wouldn’t touch it until I got $700 worth of deep gum cleaning done. Went to my regular dentist a week later said my gums are perfectly healthy and I have no cavity. They even showed me the x-ray and asked me if I could point out where the useless dentist at Aspen said I had the cavity this place is pathetic and their license should be looking into I filled out the survey. They said somebody would contact me within 72 hours. That was also a lie avoid this place at all cost makes sense why they have openings daily and can get people in on walk in cases.
