Last time I was there was over 4 years ago and wasn't treated the best. To much to say but I went today because I need a lot of work done to discover all new staff, I couldn't have asked for better care, no one embarrassed me. All my work will be complete this week. The dentist was amazing. The lady who helped me check out and took my payment was also amazing. I'm sorry I didn't get her name.

My visit at Aspen dental started out very positive, the x-ray tech, oral hygenist and even the dentist was very nice. I went in for some bad tooth pain and needed help. They were very helpful and supportive and created a big elaborate plan involving all of my teeth (most I wasn't concerned with at the time) and not just the one. But it took a huge turn when I met the office manager.. and they gave me what the plan would be, for a $900 cleaning $500 extractions and a bunch of other things "needed" which gave a total of $15,000 after insurance.. The office manager was cold and made me feel like I was a problem when I said I needed to think about it and even worse when I reminded them of the antibiotic prescription I was promised. I got my antibiotics enough for a few days and they have had no effect. Then when I called to see about a refill or help, I was told I would not get a prescription or anything unless I opted in for there money hungry dental plan. This place is not about helping people its price gouging and taking advantage of people in pain. Listen if you are in pain don't let this office bully you into giving in to there rates because thats what they care about.

I went to Aspen Dental after losing a filling because my regular dentist was out of town. They advertise same-day appointments, so I hoped to get it fixed quickly.

Instead, they did imaging and told me they wouldn’t replace my filling unless I first paid over $3,000 for a deep cleaning along my gum line. The office manager claimed it would be “unethical” to fix the tooth because bacteria might get into the filling — something my actual dentist later confirmed was simply not true.

I also tried to contact the Regional Manager, Nicole N., after she sent an automated email asking about my visit. I replied three times but never got any follow-up at all.

To top it off, weeks later I received a bill for $163 — just so they could tell me they wouldn’t help me.

Very disappointed in this practice’s priorities and lack of responsiveness. Would not recommend.

Staff is every friendly and informs you of every step before doing anything. They make sure you are comfortable and have answered all your questions!! Very compassionate group!

My husband was in severe pain with two very bad teeth. They took great care of him. He is doing so much better! Everyone was so nice and helped significantly... Thank you Aspen Dental of Alton. We definitely will see you again in the future if we need dental assistance.

Overall, they were really nice and very professional. However, they wanted $4000 for cleaning teeth! I said no. I went because of abcess tooth, got medicine. Made appointment for 5 days later to get it pulled but waited 1 hour 45 minutes past my appointment because dentist previous appmt ran over.
