I have been a patient for a few years now, Dr.Bhat and her staff have always been accommodating and have helped me improve my health with diabetes type 1, I would recommend this office, they have always made sure my concerns were answered

Very happy with Dr. Anita Bhat. I've had trouble controlling my diabetes for years. No help really from previous Doctors other than to Increase my medication. Dr Bhat listened to me about the extreme stress i was under at work & that my goal was to get off my meds. She suggested a different medication & I recently went to a 3 month followed up appointment. I am thrilled to say she tested me that day & my A1C was 5.9! If I could I would have done cartwheels out of her office. Very grateful for Dr. Bhat.

I have diabetes 2 and my A1C has been consistently too high in the 8.0 to 9.0 range for the past 12 years. My family doctor referred me to Dr. Anita Bhat. Dr. Bhat helped me lower my A1C levels within 3-4 months to a much lower and healthier 7.0 A1C level. Dr. Bhat is now helping me to maintain a healthy A1C level on a long term basis.

Dr. byatt is really friendly and bright. I've never had a problem and in fact her office helped my get my first constant blood glucose monitoring system libre2 which keeps me from poking my fingers for blood testing. Never had a issue with what other people low star reviews said. If your have blood sugar problems come here they helped make my life better.

This medical practice has gone significantly downhill in the last year. (1) Appointments that used to be with doctors are now with physician assistants. (2) My appointments with the P. A.’s have been changed at the last minute. (3) I don’t know who Jiva Health is but since I’ve seen that name the patient care and customer service has gone downhill. (4) I can’t get a live voice on the phone. I get put on hold and then after holding for one minute I get sent to voicemail. (5) The billing has gone to a new 3rd party billing company. They sent me a bill online with no details on the bill. When I finally got the bill in the mail, my insurance company had not been billed at all.
Very little has gone right since the name has been changed to Jiva Health. I really like Dr. Anita Bhat. The problem is I never see her anymore!!

Now if this review were just about Dr Anita Bhat, I would rate her five stars. Unfortunately I had to deal with the PA, Lana. During video appointments she doesn’t even look at you, spends the entire appointment typing on another computer screen. She messed up my prescription refill twice now. I’ve now asked that she not be allowed anywhere near my file. She basically doesn’t listen to the patient and just makes assumptions, that’s not really medical care.

Dr Bhat has the worst customer service skills. Her office does not send out appointment reminders and I didn't know I was on my last thyroid medication refill but when I found out I called to make an appointment and request a refill to take me to my appointment which is a month away doctor Bhat refused to refill my medication until I am seen even though this is the same thyroid medication I have been taking for the past 5 years with no changes. This doctor is in it for herself and doesn't have her patient's best interests in mind. She claims she has to see what my this levels are before giving me the refill but doesn't think about what my thyroid levels will be with no meds for a month.

At my 3rd appointment here. Just block out your day because it took them 45 min from my scheduled appointmenr time (I arrived 15 min early, so an hour total) to take me back today... Last time I was here, they left me in the room for over an hour before the Dr came in. I checked twice, the kept telling me I was next but I would see the DR out and about each time. If I could give this place less than one start I would. Stuck with this awful office for for now.

First call: Waited on hold to speak to someone for over 15, was placed on hold while they "looked" me up, 15 more minutes went by, was then greeted as first time caller again. Then front desk refused to conference my Dr with me so I didn't have to wait on hold again. Terrible first experience in an already stressful situation.

Second call: Front desk was unable to figure out how to take me off hold. Heard her talking then was out on hold 3 more times and the final time, I was transferred back to the beginning. "Jannera" from billing was unwilling to provide billing coding info for appointment. She said they only way to verify the coding they would give my insurance is AFTER my appointment. She was particularly rude about things as well, almost shaming me for asking. All of my referral info had been provided to them from my Dr so they know exactly why I'm being seen and what my appointment is for. If they didn't have any referral info to go off of, this response might be more justified, but the delivery was still totally unnecessary and uncalled for.

Trying to get a referral elsewhere. Completely unprofessional, unorganized and horrible customer service. I hear the Dr is okay, but the front desk is a mess.
