Doctor Head is Amazing!
So, I would have let him become her pediatrician—if he wasn’t already tied to that clinic. Because let me tell you, Dr. Head is THAT good. Seriously, he was everything you want in a doctor: patient, knowledgeable, and actually listened—which, let’s be real, is a rare gem in the medical world. If you ever get the chance to see him, consider yourself blessed.

Now, As compassionate as Dr. Head was, the nurse? Well… she made sure to let me know (with a little extra oomph in her tone) that my daughter didn’t need to take off her shoes or empty her pockets since this wasn’t a full pediatric check-up.

Ma’am… I heard you, but respectfully, nah.

I kindly ignored that little suggestion and told my daughter to take off her shoes anyway and hand me her phone and devices so her weight could be accurate. Why? Because when it comes to medication, dosages are based on weight. Now, I’m sure someone will say, “Oh, a couple of ounces won’t make a difference!”—but why even risk it? If we’re measuring, let’s do it right!

On a positive note, the wait time wasn’t bad at all—just about an hour, which in doctor’s office time is practically a VIP express pass.

In her defense, I’m sure when the nurse glanced at me, she had no idea I’m a blogger or that I have medical training. Which brings me to today’s life lesson: Never assume anything about anyone. You just might end up in their next blog post.

But let’s circle back—Dr. Head was truly incredible. If more doctors had his level of care, patience, and attention, the world would be a much healthier, happier place. 10/10, highly recommend!

Was a follow up appointment and Dr Jonathan is always attentive to my concerns, very compassionate and professional. I’m new in Smyrna and I feel very blessed by all the medical team I have met here already. They all are very knowledgeable and kind.

I went to this Urgent Care because my PCP could not see me. The medical assistant was so nice and we a had good laugh about why I was there. The doctor who saw me was the best. very friendly, even the receptionist was great. I would recommend this place to everybody. kudos

Went to AFC in Smyrna,Tn and Dr.Head got me in and out no long wait. When I got there the lady at the front desk took my information and had a great attitude. I would recommend AFC to anyone in need of minor medical assistance.Great place all the way around.

Dr Head is the most caring Dr I have seen in some time. He actually took the time to listen to what my issues were and seem to generally care now he could have a better staff they're not very friendly and the receptionist is a little rude but I would go back in a heartbeat he is the best
