Our mother was a resident of Alpine View Lodge for two years until her death. The staff was thoughtful, kind, understanding and caring very competent. I absolutely recommend them if you have a loved one suffering from dementia as our mother did. God bless the entire staff. Thank you Alpine View Lodge!

There are so many wonderful things to say about Alpine View Lodge! I have trusted them with the care of my friend's senior family members, and I am constantly amazed by the staff's professionalism, empathy, and level of care. This assisted living home in San Diego is unique due to its meticulous attention to detail and the personal relationships it fosters with its clients. My father was a resident on hospice at Alpine View Lodge. I work in hospital management for a large chain. Alpine View was clean and well maintained. The staff were above and beyond in thier service. The charge nurse and the owner were envolved in daily operations. It was a real suprise compared to most of the facilities we looked at in San Diego County.

Linda and her staff are the most loving, caring people you would ever want to meet. We made the best decision ever when we placed our mother in there care. I can not praise them enough for all that they did for her and with her. Mom died just over a year ago and I feel as much a part of Alpine View Lodge now as I did then. They are nothing short of angels on earth.

I am a Hospice Nurse I visit many facilities, I have to say that this facility is the ONLY facility I would place one of my own family members. The staff is caring and attentive. The food is home cooked. And the facility is beautiful and secure yet the patients don't feel locked up they love the staff and so do I. This facility is the Best. I have worked in Hospice for years all over San Diego County it's worth the drive if your looking for placement for a loved one.

I'm not a writer, and I tend to be a skeptic, but I have to say, check this accommodation out, they are the most caring place you'll find. If your mother (or father) has Alzheimer's, and even if you just have a question about the disease, ask for Linda the owner, who is there, in the middle of everything most days, and ask your question. That's what I did. And then I looked around, at all the other pretty-pretty places, and realized my mother didn't care about a pool she couldn't, or wouldn't even think to, use; same for a fancy pool table located in another annex. What she got here while she lived for the final years of her life, was a loving touch, constant vigilance and gentle care, a very clean, well kept environment, and by the way, exceptional food. Talk to Linda; I'd nominate HER for president if I could.

Exemplary care by extraordinary people. Cannot express my appreciation... So grateful to have gotten a bed there for my mom. In my opinion, the finest care in San Diego!!
